[name]Hi[/name] all, I’m new here!! [name]Hi[/name] :’) big wave
I have a daughter [name]Phoebe[/name] (middlename [name]Teagan[/name]) and a son [name]Mackenzie[/name]! I am just wondering if you could give me some sibling names for them? I. Have in my mind: [name]Leo[/name], [name]Charles[/name] “charlie”, [name]Jaiden[/name], [name]Noah[/name] for boys and [name]Chelsea[/name], [name]Teagan[/name], [name]Kiera[/name], [name]Maisie[/name] for girls. Id really like unusually sounding names (I know some are popular but id prefer unusual and I like Gaelic,.irish and Scottish names) xxx thanks in advance
[name]Hi[/name], big welcome! So first of all, I would like to say: don’t use your daughter’s middle name as a first name for a second daughter. That’s just a big no, in most people’s books. Trying something similar sounding could work though: [name]Reagan[/name], [name]Keagan[/name], [name]Tia[/name], [name]Leah[/name] etc some Irish suggestions: [name]Aoibhe[/name] ([name]Eva[/name]), [name]Caoimhe[/name] ([name]Keeva[/name]), [name]Ciara[/name] ([name]Kiara[/name]), [name]Aisling[/name] ([name]Ashlin[/name] / [name]Ashlynn[/name]), [name]Roisin[/name] ([name]Rosheen[/name]), [name]Shea[/name] ([name]Shay[/name] / [name]Shae[/name]). And some other different suggestions: [name]Freya[/name], [name]Heidi[/name], [name]Heather[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Willow[/name], [name]Willa[/name], [name]Juniper[/name], [name]Juno[/name], [name]Luna[/name], Kodi, [name]Macey[/name], [name]Imogen[/name], [name]Essie[/name], [name]Ellie[/name], Elsabet, [name]Karson[/name], [name]Rowan[/name]. And onto the boys! [name]Ailbhe[/name] ([name]Alva[/name] / [name]Alba[/name]), [name]Fionn[/name] ([name]Finn[/name]), [name]Ciaran[/name] ([name]Kieran[/name]), Naomhan ([name]Nevan[/name]), [name]Oisin[/name] ([name]Osheen[/name]), Raemann ([name]Redmund[/name]), [name]Roibeard[/name] ([name]Robert[/name]). Others: [name]Kayden[/name], [name]Kai[/name], [name]Tristian[/name], [name]Willem[/name], [name]Danny[/name], [name]George[/name], [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Zander[/name] / [name]Xander[/name], Grae / [name]Grey[/name] / [name]Gray[/name], [name]Devon[/name], [name]Sidney[/name], [name]Nathan[/name] / [name]Nate[/name], [name]Jay[/name], [name]Jamie[/name], Tommo, [name]Kyle[/name]. [name]Hope[/name] these have given you some food for though.
Hiya and thank you for your reply!
Why is it a big no,.for most people?
I do like [name]Jay[/name], [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Logan[/name], [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Leighton[/name] & [name]Reuben[/name] for boys!
If its a law to use [name]Teagan[/name], then ill have to find uber special names as [name]Teagan[/name] is the only name i truly love beside phoebe for girls lol
I think it is because you’ve given that name to your child, and while it’s okay to share baby clothes and furniture amongst your children, names I’m not so sure. For me personally it just feels like you can’t be bothered to find a different name you love for another child so you are reusing your daughters - of course this is not what you’re doing but for me, personally, it’s what it feels like. I feel the same about twins being given matching names and being dressed up in the same outfit; all children are individual and should be treated as so. I’m sure there’s another name out there that you can give another girl, you’ve just got to keep looking
Ahh ill just keep looking for an amazing girl name! Lol very hard though. I like girly girly yet unusual x
[name]Hi[/name]!! and welcome to Nameberry… I knew I had to comment when I saw your kids’ names…[name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Mackenzie[/name] are sooo cute. I would have never thought of putting them together in a sibset, but I love it! I also agree with @milliemm, that it would be better not to use [name]Teagan[/name] again. Hmm…do you want another name ending in the ‘ee’ sound, or do you want something different? [name]Just[/name] looking at your signature, I think [name]Cain[/name], [name]Louie[/name], [name]Liam[/name], [name]Shane[/name], [name]Eden[/name] and [name]Esme[/name] are wonderful. I also really like [name]Miranda[/name] and [name]Maisie[/name], but I don’t know if you want two ‘M’ names?? I can see where you’re having a hard time with girls’ names. A few ideas…
[name]Arabella[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Belle[/name]
[name]Bryony[/name]
[name]Calla[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name]
[name]Estelle[/name]
[name]Honor[/name]
[name]Jasmine[/name]
[name]Juno[/name]
[name]Willa[/name]
I’m sure you can find a girl’s name you love…just keep looking and asking:). Good luck…
Hey!
I do love EE ending names, however it’s not a necessity. I do like [name]Bronte[/name] (BRONTAY), I think that’s beautiful but I don’t know if it looks masculine? And I studied the [name]Bronte[/name] sisters at School and loved there work! [name]Hence[/name] why I like [name]Teagan[/name] ([name]Little[/name] [name]Poet[/name]). I also like [name]Joseph[/name] “[name]Joey[/name]” and [name]Chandler[/name], for boys, and I don’t mind the association with friends as thats where I got the name chandler, but [name]Joseph[/name] is a popular name, I also like [name]Felicity[/name]! Girls are ALOT harder, as I prefer really unique sounding/looking, but not too out there, and have to be a bit feminine! Definetly a tricky one. Lol and thank you for your suggestions, but none you said, really JUMP out at me. & Thank you for the name compliment above. Haha. x
I do love [name]Brooke[/name] aswell! On my signature, the only girl names I truly like are: [name]Teagan[/name], [name]Brooke[/name], [name]Jamie[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Ellie[/name]-[name]Mae[/name] but the rest are just OK. lol
Hey!
You seem really confused what your naming style is. You say you love feminine but then your favourite names are verging on uni-sex. I would say you are after a spunky vibe like [name]Phoebe[/name] but a name that is still more on the girls side if possible?
Of your choices [name]Brooke[/name] for a girl and [name]Charlie[/name] for a boy. ([name]Charles[/name] sounds way too formal next to the other two I think)…
I have a [name]Phoebe[/name] too so I will start with the names that were on my list then move on to some more suggestions!
Girls:
[name]Felicity[/name]-girly girl…But too me still spunky!
[name]Freya[/name]-[name]Love[/name] it-was heads to head with [name]Phoebe[/name] till naming day.
[name]Holly[/name]-ha could not have it-[name]Phoebe[/name] was born Xmas day. Hubbys number one choice.
[name]Lola[/name] (love love love this name the meaning just got to me-but did consider longer versions and nn lola)!
[name]Heidi[/name]-[name]Just[/name] love it.
[name]Lucia[/name]-[name]Lulu[/name] is just the cutest nn ever and [name]Lucia[/name] such an elegant older girls name.
[name]Cleo[/name]-SUPER SPUNKY! Did not go with my last name though so had to lose it.
[name]Thea[/name]-Ha only thing that gets to me is it can sound like you have a lisp saying it too often…But adore the name.
My boys list was:
[name]Hugo[/name]-this name sounds lovely with [name]Phoebe[/name]. My favourite boy match.
[name]Zac[/name] (Chances are we will have a variation of [name]Zac[/name] if we have a boy next like [name]Zachary[/name]…It is kind of popular but it has been a favourite name of mine since I was a child-can not say the same for [name]Phoebe[/name]-that name I fell in love with when pregnant)!
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Dexter[/name]-
[name]Felix[/name]-
[name]Isaac[/name] ([name]Zac[/name])-
[name]Angus[/name] ([name]Gus[/name])
[name]Patrick[/name]

Hello. I am looking for spunky yet girly names definetly. and I do love felicity nn flis
I like [name]Freya[/name] and [name]Lola[/name]… and [name]Lexi[/name]. And [name]Felix[/name] and dexter however my favourite boys name besides [name]Mackenzie[/name] is [name]Leo[/name].
And I have no rules!
[name]Leo[/name] is fab. I love it.
You’re welcome(: Yeah, as you can tell from my signature eh, I also looove [name]Bronte[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name]. I could see where [name]Bronte[/name] looks alittle masculine because of [name]Bron[/name]/[name]Bronson[/name] being a boys name…but to me its feminine enough. It sounds quite feminine, with the -te end sound. Oooo and [name]Felicity[/name], Fliss, is so cute. Another NN I like for it is Lissy.
