I have 3 gorgeous girls, [name]Halle[/name] [name]Blossom[/name], [name]Edie[/name] [name]Zala[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] [name]Mary[/name].
If we have a girl this time (as I am expecting!) we love the names [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Luna[/name] / [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] [name]Bleu[/name] / [name]Willa[/name] [name]Lou[/name].
[name]Mila[/name] was another of my favourites but it was way to close to [name]Lila[/name] on paper!
[name]Do[/name] [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] seem too close?
I was set on [name]Ivy[/name] but I’m really feeling little ‘[name]Willa[/name]’ vibes…maybe a compromise with [name]Willow[/name]?
What do you nameberries think?
Thankyou xx
I think [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] seem a little close but not to close that they wouldn’t be able to tell which one of their names you were saying from far away, ygwim? [name]Willow[/name] would be a lovely alternative. Personally I prefer [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name]. It goes perfectly with [name]Halle[/name], [name]Edie[/name] and [name]Lila[/name]! Too cute! Good luck.
[name]Bree[/name]
I don’t think that [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] are too close, but I am seconding [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name]. So cute!
I know they’re pronounced ‘lie-lah’ and ‘will-a’ but when I see them together I want to say ‘lie-lah’ and ‘why-la’. I think they’re a bit too close but [name]Willow[/name] is a good alternative.
I have the same reaction as renrose…seeing [name]Willa[/name] with [name]Lila[/name] makes me want to mispronounce [name]Willa[/name]. I do love the name, though.
Also, [name]Halle[/name], [name]Edie[/name], [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] leaves [name]Edie[/name] sort of in an odd girl out position…no l-plus-vowel ending. Although, I suppose [name]Halle[/name], [name]Edie[/name], [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] leaves [name]Lila[/name] as the only sister whose name does’t end in an ‘ee’ sound, but somehow that seems to jump out at me less…
I love [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Luna[/name], and [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name] is pretty gorgeous too. [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] are definitely too close imo, but [name]Willow[/name] is beautiful and a good compromise. [name]Luna[/name] [name]Willow[/name] maybe? I just love [name]Luna[/name]! Or [name]Willow[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]? More botanical than your other names but not impossible.
[name]Wilhelmina[/name], perhaps? Close to [name]Willa[/name]/[name]Willow[/name] and nn of [name]Mina[/name] (close to [name]Mila[/name]), although it might be a bit of a mouthful compared to the other, shorter names of your girls.
I do want to stick to another 2 syllable girls name. I honestly never dreamed of having 4 little girls but now we have established a pattern of three 2 syllable names I feel we should stick to it.
DH loves [name]Willa[/name] and thinks it will be just fine and ‘since when do we care what other peope think?’ Men are so black and white lol.
He thinks [name]Halle[/name] and [name]Edie[/name], [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] are cute pairs. Especially as the big girls are close and our little ones will be close. They’re like their own little pairs. I think our only other option will be a [name]Willow[/name] compromise as he is so keen on a [name]Will[/name]… name now.
Or maybe we will finally get a little prince and their will be no need to worry!
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Luna[/name] is beautiful and perfect with your girls.
I think [name]Mila[/name] IS too close, but willow, or willa even, is fine. I don’t like [name]Willa[/name] [name]Lou[/name], it’s a bit of a tongue twister, but I like [name]Willa[/name] [name]BLUE[/name]. The french spelling won’t be easy for most people to pronounce. Also, I like [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name] better than [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Luna[/name], the rhythm is better.
Yes, [name]Willa[/name] [name]Blue[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Luna[/name] are my favs too. We may have to put that one on the backburner. Friends of ours just had a baby girl [name]Ivy[/name] yeaterday. Although they are not very close friends, we only found out on facebook aout her birth and see them at big gatherings with our circle of friends so it’s not a deal breaker…then you consider my DD’s kindergarten teacher has also just had a little [name]Ivy[/name] and will be in my new DD’s classes at school…we have seen 2 in the birth announcements in the local newspaper this week…and it is no. 21 on the popular baby list in AUs this year… might stay clear…
