Sibset for Giuseppe

So I’m not pregnant yet or trying, but I know that if we have kids, one of them has to be [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m]. I was wondering if [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] would go well or does it seem out of place? [name_m]How[/name_m] well would [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] go with [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m]?

If neither works, what are some names that would go?
[name_f]TIA[/name_f]

[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] and [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] sound great together! [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] and [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m], though they share the same beginning sound, don’t really match. But there’s not a rule that sibsets have to match—if using names you love is more important to you than having a complementary sibset, then go for it! Another idea is to use matching nicknames, in this case [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Joe[/name_m]/[name_u]Joey[/name_u].

I think Latin-sounding names would sound best with [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m], even if they’re not strictly Italian.

[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_u]Armani[/name_u]
[name_m]Dominic[/name_m]
[name_m]Ivan[/name_m]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_m]Leonardo[/name_m]
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]

[name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]
[name_u]Carmen[/name_u]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliana[/name_f] (or [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]

Yeah, but I’d rather it sound like they go together lol. I’m glad to know [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] works!! I was thinking of [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_u]Joey[/name_u] too, but I guess just when you’re using real names instead of nicknames, [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] & [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] don’t really sound right unfortunately ” I do like the suggestions! [name_m]Will[/name_m] have to look into Latin sounding names. Thanks!

I agree that [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] & [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] go very well together, but [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] is so much different than the two stylistically & popularity wise. [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m], [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] would be beautiful together! I agree that Latin names would work, as well as Italian and Spanish names.

[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] and [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] are perfect together! Unfortunately I think [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] is mismatched.

Perhaps you could consider some Italian/European names?

[name_m]Antonio[/name_m]
Pascquale
[name_m]Alessandro[/name_m]
[name_m]Matteo[/name_m]
[name_m]Tomasso[/name_m]
[name_m]Riccardo[/name_m]
[name_m]Giacomo[/name_m]

I do like [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] is nice too. Is there another form of [name_m]Jack[/name_m]/[name_m]Jackson[/name_m] I can use that will go?
What do you guys think of [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]? Would it be bad to have a [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] AND [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]?
What about [name_f]Cressida[/name_f]?

Well, [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] comes from [name_m]Jack[/name_m], which comes from [name_m]John[/name_m], so I think your best bet would be to explore the international variations of [name_m]John[/name_m], such as [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m], Ivano, and [name_m]Juan[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] and [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] may be overwhelmingly Italian, especially if you are not actually Italian, but I think that [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] and [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] could work well, for instance.

I think [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] is perfectly lovely. Obviously both start with a V which feels slightly matchy, but otherwise the names are not particularly similar so I don’t see an issue.

[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] I don’t like much personally, but I think it works perfectly well with [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m]/[name_f]Valentina[/name_f]/[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]/[name_m]Matteo[/name_m]/[name_m]Raphael[/name_m]/[name_m]Ivan[/name_m]/etc. nevertheless.

[name_m]Ah[/name_m], that’s great to know! I was afraid with the Vs, it would be way to matchy, but glad it still works. As well as [name_f]Cressida[/name_f].
I’m not too crazy about [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] though so that kind of sucks, not being able to use [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. Plus you’re right, it does sound way too Italian, especially next to [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] haha. I’m not, but he is Italian, hence having to use [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m].
On another note, would [name_m]Gio[/name_m] be a good nickname for [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m]?

even though you love [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] for a boy what about [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]?

Not a fan of [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] or even [name_u]Jackie[/name_u]

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you guys think [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] & [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] would be too much? Like too matchy? Would it still go well with [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]?
Are there other names for either boys or girls that will go well with [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m]? I feel like this name is really limiting me
