Sibset help for baby #3!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! I am due in less than 2 weeks and I am feeling so indecisive for baby girls name.
I feel like I’ve narrowed it down to…
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
Last name starts with a C , 2 syllables.

Siblings are [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. Yes, I know isaac and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] are verrry similar but I still like the name!

Thanks for your help!!

I love [name_f]Isla[/name_f] however like you pointed out [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] are very similar - too similar in my opinion. I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] with [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], but it feels very serious next to the carefree [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (in my opinion!).

However, my favourite with [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] :). I love that they all end in a different sound, start with a different letter and it just fits!! [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] would be gorgeous if you don’t have a middle name in mind.

Good luck!

I love your choices and kids’ names. My vote goes to [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - one of my all time favourite names. [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].

Funnily, I feel the opposite to @musicwaves. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is super fun to me and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] feels more serious haha

[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is so charming and classy with [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]!

Congratulations on your third. You clearly have a penchant for names beginning with vowels.

To narrow the list down further I would eliminate [name_f]Isla[/name_f] for its similarity to [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. They share the same sound at the start of their names which makes it all the more prominent. It also means they would share the same initial. Not a big deal, but could be a downside. Plus they are both 2 syllables. If the middle name is not locked in, I’d also suggest using [name_f]Isla[/name_f] for the middle slot.

I’m rather torn between [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. I was initally drawn to the zestiness of [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and it also has that long “i” sound you like. But then I noticed that [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] both have that “l” sound at the beginning and end in an “a”. It’s one of my own preferences for sibling names to sound very distinct from one another but you may not feel as strongly about this. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are classic names and would suit very well as sisters.

[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] is also a good contender, matching the strong popularity of [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and would also fit the style of the sibling set. At this point you could do a number of things to work out the baby’s name. You could run a poll and see if you your feelings indicate you’re especially eager for one of the names to win, or if you feel especially disappointed if a particular name doesn’t get many votes. Does the father have a preference for one over the others? You could consider which nicknames you prefer better (if you’re using them). You could potentially weigh in on your children’s preferences, or you could wait until you meet your baby to see which suits them more.

All the best with your decision. Would love to see a birth announcement when the little one arrives.

[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is too similar to [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] too similar to [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], so my choice is [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], which I think is very lovely with your other children’s names.

We ended up choosing [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]!! My husband and I both decided separately the day she was born. Thanks everyone for your comments and help! ”
