  • It could work… Depends on the middle names: 6 (10%)

I think that [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Grey[/name] are fine for a sibset. [name]Grey[/name] is most definitely a boy name in my opinion, I would never associate it with a little girl.

I dont think of [name]Iris[/name] as a colour, just as a flower. [name]Grey[/name] is definetly as boys name, but you could also use [name]Greyson[/name] as longer version.

Oh my gosh, I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Grey[/name] together! This is the best potential sibset I have heard in a really long time. I love the simplicity and strength names individually and together.

I like [name]Iris[/name]. I feel like [name]Grey[/name] is very much a color & not so much a name. Like [name]Blue[/name]. Or [name]Red[/name]. I do like [name]Grayson[/name], but that name is now being bestowed upon girls, so it gets marked off my personal list because I am not a fan at all of unisex names.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Iris[/name], but [name]Grey[/name] is too much of a color and too little of a name to me. Sorry!

I think [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Grey[/name] work fine together, and that [name]Grey[/name] is definitely masculine enough.

Of course, I also love that another berry is using [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name] for twin girls, so make what you will of my opinion on color names.

I voted that they are fine. I don’t really see the obvious color connection. Is [name]Iris[/name] a color? I know it’s a flower and they are usually purple (I think), but I don’t automatically associate it with a color. I am not a fan of [name]Grey[/name] because I don’t like word names, but it does sound like a boy’s name to me, albeit a softer (possibly to some people more feminine) one, but still all boy.

I love the two together and would never think that [name]Grey[/name] was a girl - it just soulds like a boy’s name.

I think people who have issues with this more than likely just have an issue with a particular name, but not with the two of them being in a sibset together. I get that [name]Iris[/name] can refer to the color part of your eye - is that what you’re thinking of? I wouldn’t have thought of the set as too much color. I think of [name]Grey[/name] as more of a middle name, probably because for me it’s a color or a last name, but I do think it’s handsome and I don’t see why it couldn’t be used with [name]Iris[/name] in a sibset. I would assume [name]Grey[/name] was a boy.

I am referring to its meaning “rainbow” and also the flower is purple so it makes me think of color… Other than a name like [name]Rachel[/name], for example.

What about [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Coral[/name] for sisters??

I think this works very nicely. [name]Grey[/name] is one of my all time favorite boys’ names.

I actually [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Grey[/name] for siblings. I think they’re very well matched and are quite charming together. I don’t think the color thing is too obvious.

Neither of these are my style, but that doesn’t stop me from loving this combo for sisters!! Something about it just clicks with me. [name]Love[/name] these two.

I really like [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Grey[/name] together, awesome!

Thank you everyone!! So nice :).
