sick of sight of my names please help!

Hoping for last baby. I keep coming back to same names over many years. A couple of new names in there too, but new names can sneak up by surprise and be just right. I am a bit tired of all these names, I always come back to the same ones! In need of inspiration. I’d like something pretty and feminine.

Names are Mabel, Margaret, Lucy, Alice, Maud, Katherine, Tabitha, Rosalie, Thomasina, Perdita and Bridget
New to list: Winifred and Johanna as a middle to honour my mother.
Middles: Jane, Lark, Wren, Snow, Maud/Maude, Frida, Frida-Maud

List of names I can’t use at the bottom.
Two middles: (probably) have to have [name_f]Frida[/name_f]/[name_f]Frieda[/name_f] as a middle but I would rather not. Can I smoosh [name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Maud[/name_f] together [name_f]Frida[/name_f]-[name_f]Maude[/name_f] and so get an extra name?
We live in [name_f]England[/name_f] so different names are popular.

[name_f]MABEL[/name_f]: Rhymes with our two syllable last name (sounds like Buckwell) is that a problem? We could bypass that by using [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] but then lose the “[name_f]May[/name_f]” sound.
[name_f]KATHERINE[/name_f] nn [name_f]Kitty[/name_f]: Favourite name since I was 11
[name_f]FLORA[/name_f]: Rhymes with [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] so we didn’t use last time but now we’ve had [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is the sibset sound broken up enough we could use it?
[name_f]ROSALIE[/name_f]: Have loved this name since 11, regret not using it on [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], is sunshine in a name. Other name like that is [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
[name_f]MARGARET[/name_f]: nn [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or [name_f]Greta[/name_f] I don’t love [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] but I really respect her and [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the nicknames. At the moment it is my top name.
[name_f]LUCY[/name_f]: Mother has a dog called [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] but should I let that bother me? Is also very popular in [name_f]England[/name_f]
[name_f]TABITHA[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and it goes really well with last name and sibset
[name_f]BRIDGET[/name_f]: is fun and alliterative with our surname, I imagine a really naughty little girl
[name_f]MAUD[/name_f]/[name_f]Maude[/name_f] - honour name which I happen to love
[name_f]ALICE[/name_f] - best friend has daughter [name_f]Alice[/name_f] but they live in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] and pronounce it differently. I love this name. Loving @opheliaflora’s combo [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] but would use [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as third name. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f]
[name_f]PERDITA[/name_f]: some people have made comments about sad meaning but DH and I both love and goes well with sibset.
[name_f]WINIFRED[/name_f]: new to the list, a way of getting [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] without actually having to use [name_f]Frieda[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it in a combo with [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. [name_m]Friend[/name_m] has a dog called [name_f]Winifred[/name_f].

Friends daughters’ names & names can’t use: [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Cicely[/name_f], [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Coco[/name_f], Cordelia [name_f]Constance[/name_f], [name_u]Echo[/name_u], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Kitty[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Lula[/name_f], [name_f]Mafalda[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f], [name_f]Melisande[/name_f], [name_f]Polly[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f], [name_f]Sukie[/name_f] Mila Dinah Natalie Natasha Corinna Melanie

I’ve edited down my rambling post, any help would be really appreciated. Stuck in a name rut.

I would not necessarily rule out names of friends’ kids as overlap is ok plus you/your kids will gain friends who might have the same name.

I love [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Kitty[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] from your list. I wouldn’t use [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] with your surname. I would tend to go with something you have loved a long time, and, for me, sounding great with the surname is one of the most important factors in deciding.

Firstly, I don’t think [name_f]Frida[/name_f]-[name_f]Maud[/name_f] works, it still sounds like two names meaning you’d have three middles, which if you want to do that I think is fine, but I wouldn’t hyphenate them. And if you don’t want to use [name_f]Frida[/name_f], don’t, unless of course this is SOs requirement then you may have to work with it.

I happen to love [name_f]Perdita[/name_f] as well. I wouldn’t worry too much about the meaning, many common names have very boring or not great meanings. I think it’s one of those things that if you’re name means something cool you’ll think about it, otherwise you just don’t worry about it.

I also love [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], nn [name_f]Greta[/name_f], it was on the top of my list too but Hubby doesn’t like it.

Based on your list, other names I think you might like:

[name_f]Elyse[/name_f] (eh-lees, not quite [name_f]Alice[/name_f])
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]
[name_f]Gretchen[/name_f]
Clarimonde
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f]
[name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Rafaella[/name_f]
Vianeta (Vee-ah-net-a)
[name_f]Apollonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eveline[/name_f]

@araminty is right, the most important thing is the flow with the surname. This rules out [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and a few others too. Also really frilly names even if I love them seem stupid with our surname which is quite a hobbit name. Also really clunky names would be cruel (e.g. [name_f]Agatha[/name_f]) but [name_f]Maude[/name_f] could just about pull it off.

@sillypumpkin Thanks, I know you are right, I can’t smoosh. [name_f]Frida[/name_f] is SO’s choice so it might have to be included. Thanks for your suggestions. I do like [name_f]Claudia[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Viola[/name_f], [name_f]Rafaella[/name_f] and [name_f]Gretchen[/name_f], I love [name_f]Viola[/name_f] but I don’t like nn [name_f]Vi[/name_f] so I keep on ruling it out then adding it back to the list.

I’ve just gone through the whole nameberry top 2000 and still end up with same names unless I decided to go what for me is quite "out there’ and go for names like [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] which I think is adorable but I wouldn’t be brave enough to use.

I feel the names have to sound quite classic English or pastoral so a little greek influence allowed. Have left some braver choices in.
