I really love this name. I also loved the [name]Divine[/name] Secrets Of the Ya Ya Sisterhood. What does everyone think? I think it is super cute and spunky. What do you think when you hear it? Is it too associated with Ya Ya or could I use it?
Oh gosh, [name]Sidda[/name] (or actually, the characters full name [name]Siddalee[/name]) is such a guilty pleasure name for me, I also love Ya Ya Sisterhood.
I think it’s useable! I think spunky and southern sounding, and yes the book is a strong association, but I would love to meet a [name]Sidda[/name] in real life.
I don’t like it at all! I think it sounds a bit exotic, but it seems made up for me.
As a Spanish speaker, I can’t avoid the connection with SIDA, the Spanish acronym for AIDS. The pronunciation is the same 
[name]Love[/name],
[name]Pilar[/name].

I think it’s nice, nms. I prefer the spelling Siddah, though. I’ve never heard of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the reference.

My mother’s mn is [name]Lee[/name] and I considered at one time using the full name… [name]Sidda[/name] [name]Lee[/name] but no one around me seemed to like it…but seeing your post has revived my interest in this name!
