Sidney?

I like the name [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] for a girl. But it feels like [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] is more masculine than feminine. [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] is the more feminine spelling, but I don’t like it as much. Is [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] useable for a girl or should I change it to [name_u]Sydney[/name_u]?

I don’t think one spelling of [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] is more masculine and one spelling is more feminine.

If it helps, I went to school with a girl named [name_u]Sidney[/name_u]. So, while the [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] spelling is more popular for girls, [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] is still used and can work. The difference is one letter, so I don’t see why it can’t work.

100% usable! It’s my ex’s middle so off-the-limits for me but I really like it, I had a doll named [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] when was little
