Siena to Ema?

[name_f]Siena[/name_f] end in -ena same pronounciation as [name_f]Ema[/name_f] almost
So do you think for a nn instead of calling her [name_f]Ena[/name_f] we could call her [name_f]Ema[/name_f]?

you could, but it’s a huge stretch

I think its too much of a stretch from [name_f]Siena[/name_f] to [name_f]Ema[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] dogs name is [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], and depending on peoples accent, it almost sounds like [name_f]Sianna[/name_f] more than [name_f]Sienna[/name_f].

I don’t think it works.

I don’t think it works, honestly. It’s just not intuitive at all. I mean, you may as well just use [name_f]Ema[/name_f] if that’s the name you like. :woman_shrugging:t3:

Ena would be pretty nickname but unfortunately I dont think [name_f]Ema[/name_f] works. You could do [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_u]Ember[/name_u], [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_u]Emery[/name_u], [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], etc and that would make it work.

It doesn’t quite work for me

It doesn’t work for me, sorry.

I don’t think it works, sorry.

I’m not quite sure it works. It’s too much of a stretch, I believe.

It feels like too much of a stretch since there are so many “[name_f]Em[/name_f]-” names out in the world already.

[name_f]Ena[/name_f] is super cute! I would just stick with that.
