[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is beautiful. [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] is not my cup of tea, but it’s more uncommon which might be a plus
I think I prefer [name_f]Sanna[/name_f], but it’s very close between the two, honestly. I like its sound and unusualness.
I always thought [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] was a kind of underwhelming color name, and its closeness to [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] (popular in my age group in my town) and senna (an herbal laxative) has further dulled the name for me.
I’m recently smitten with [name_f]Sanna[/name_f], though, and would love to see it used, as a nickname for [name_f]Susanna/name_f or as a stand-alone name. I like that it’s less common and outside the realm of ruffly-femme English, [name_m]French[/name_m], and Italian names that seem to be the norm where I live. It’s pretty and feminine without being cutesy or delicate. It has spirit.
You might also like [name_f]Seana[/name_f] (prn. See-ah-na or [name_m]Say[/name_m]-ah-na) or [name_f]Sassa[/name_f] (a Scandinavian nickname for [name_f]Sara/name_f, I’ve heard).
Not a big fan of [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]! I know it’s not too popular but for some reason it sounds trendy to me, and as if it will be considered a very “late 2010’s name” in the future.
On the other hand, I love [name_f]Sanna[/name_f]! It’s unique and comes with the adorable nickname [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] for when she’s younger.
I love [name_f]Sanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Sanne[/name_f]! It’s fresh, unexpected, and has international appeal. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is very trendy and feels like it will be a dated name. Fom personal association, [name_u]Sierra[/name_u]/[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] tends to lack class.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] has a certain connotation that [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] doesn’t. [name_f]Sanna[/name_f], while not an elegant name or anything by any means, seems a whole lot more… classy.
Definitely [name_f]Sanna[/name_f]! Simple, unusual, international, and oozing understated chic.
I can see why [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is popular, but it’s not a favourite of mine, and quite overused where I live.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is my #1 so she no doubt gets my vote!
Though [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] is pretty too
Definitely [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]! It’s a gorgeous name
[name_f]Sanna[/name_f] just reminds me of [name_f]Santa[/name_f], sorry, but that’s just my opinion
[name_f]Sanna[/name_f]!
I’ve loved [name_f]Sanne[/name_f] ever since hearing it on the olympic gymnast, [name_f]Sanne[/name_f] Wevers.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] feels more trendy and [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] more timeless to me.
This is a tough one, I think I prefer [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] by a hair. If you want a less popular one, I’d say go with [name_f]Sanna[/name_f]. [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] reminds me of both Japanese and Scandinavian roots and is a beautiful name in its own. Would you like [name_f]Sena[/name_f]/[name_f]Senna[/name_f]? It’s a Korean name meaning “a shining/bright one for the world”.
[name_f]Sanna[/name_f]! I know few Sannas and I’ve liked all of them
(For some reason I’ve never liked the name [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], sorry.)
