I had my third baby yesterday and my husband and I are having issues agreeing on a name. We both like [name_m]Linus[/name_m] a lot - but my older son is [name_m]Silas[/name_m]. Are they too similar-sounding to be sibling names??
To make it more complicated, but daughter is [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. So [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is basically a totally unintentional “combination” of my two older kids’ names.
Is it too rhymey with [name_m]Silas[/name_m]? Is it weird it combines elements of [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_m]Silas[/name_m]?
[name_m]Linus[/name_m] is sweet and unexpected! But, with siblings [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], I’m a little hesitant on it…they do seem a little rhymey to me, unfortunately.
From your signature, I think that [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Lionel[/name_u], and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] would all work!

I wouldn’t use [name_m]Linus[/name_m] with [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. It is a cool name though.
Unfortunately, I think [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is too similar to [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f].
I love [name_m]Linus[/name_m] (and [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]) but it’s too rhymey/similar for me. [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] could be an alternative?
I agree with posters above, the similar sound with the other names is a dealbreaker.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Titus[/name_m]? It shares the long i and the ending, without being too similar

I also think [name_m]Linus[/name_m] feels odd with your other names. I think [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] from your sig would work better. 
Maybe you could use [name_m]Linus[/name_m] as a mn instead?
Try [name_m]Laszlo[/name_m]…kind of similar to [name_m]Linus[/name_m].
