I prefer [name_m]Silas[/name_m] over [name_m]Zev[/name_m]. Other suggestions:

[name_m]Boaz[/name_m]
[name_m]Enoch[/name_m]
[name_m]Ephraim[/name_m]
[name_m]Lazarus[/name_m]
[name_m]Jethro[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]
[name_u]Cruz[/name_u]
[name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_u]Blaze[/name_u]

[name_m]Zebulon[/name_m]
[name_m]Zebedee[/name_m]
[name_m]Zeno[/name_m]

I actually really like [name_m]Zev[/name_m]! It’s interesting. You might also like [name_m]Zeb[/name_m], which could be short for [name_m]Zebadiah[/name_m] or [name_m]Zebulon[/name_m]. Or he could just be [name_m]Zeb[/name_m]! I also like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] for you. What about Nazarene? It’s a little long, but keeps the biblical connection and the z sound from [name_m]Zev[/name_m]. [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] was often referred to as the Nazarene, but the word has also been used to describe anyone hailing from [name_m]Nazareth[/name_m] or Christians in general.

I voted [name_m]Silas[/name_m]–he’s a recent (or recently recurring!) crush of mine, and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] and [name_m]Silas[/name_m] is perfection together! I love the Hebrew [name_m]Lev[/name_m] and [name_m]Zev[/name_m], but [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] and [name_m]Zev[/name_m] strikes me as just too much. I love the simplicity of [name_m]Zev[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], but [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] and [name_m]Silas[/name_m] seems perfect in every way!

Good luck!

I’m really intrigued by [name_m]Zev[/name_m]. Both are nice names.

I like both. [name_m]Silas[/name_m] is very handsome, def more on trend. There are two in my sons new pre-k class. Never heard [name_m]Zev[/name_m] in real life. I’d be more inclined to use [name_m]Zev[/name_m] myself. Good luck!

I really like [name_m]Silas[/name_m]. In fact I keep coming back to it myself. I had never heard of [name_m]Zev[/name_m] and I do like it however I wonder is it too close to [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] and also how many children do you plan on having? If it’s more than 2 I would definitely say [name_m]Silas[/name_m] unless you want a Z theme in which case go for [name_m]Zev[/name_m] (I voted for [name_m]Silas[/name_m]!)

Those are both really cool names! I’m not sure I can decide which to vote for honestly, so I’ll just leave my comments and hope that helps in some way.

[name_m]Silas[/name_m]- I love this name. It’s one of the softer-sounding boy names out there, but it’s still very masculine. It’s so handsome to me. My only concern with it is that it’s risen in popularity so quickly that it might border on trendy, even though it’s not super popular.

[name_m]Zev[/name_m]- Definitely the more adventurous of the two! Is it pronounced with a long or short “e” sound? Either way, it has a very cool, modern feel to it. Downside is that it’s a little matchy with sister [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]. Personally I don’t mind a small amount of matchy-ness, but if you’re planning to have another kid and can’t find another Z-name you like, he or she may feel left out.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either, really. Good luck!

[name_m]Zebulon[/name_m], with nickname [name_m]Zeb[/name_m] would be adorable!
