Names like [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Milo[/name_u], [name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_u]Finn[/name_u], etc. seem to be popular with parents looking for names for their sons. What names do you think have a similar feel to these names that are currently outside of the top 1000 or at least far less popular than these names? Which names similar to these names are uncommon now that you can see rising in popularity within the next few years?
Not popular but [name_u]Basil[/name_u] and [name_m]Oslo[/name_m] are very underrated given how they give off a similar vibe while still being vintage, I think I said this before but [name_u]River[/name_u] will probably rise given how it’s very popular, Off the top of my head I think [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] might make a rise again (i think it was popular before), [name_m]Bruce[/name_m] hopefully, I also think that name is underrated, and maybe more bolder choices like [name_u]Blaise[/name_u], I’m actually hoping for a bolder name choice for boys this year as parents tend to go cooler with boy names than girls
Elio! It doesn’t rank in the top 1000 but it has the O ending and international style similar to the names you mentioned. Plus the movie Call Me by Your Name made [name_m]Elio[/name_m] better-known.
Similar to @princesspanda’s suggestion of [name_u]River[/name_u] (which I totally agree with!) I can see Rivers with an S rising too. It doesn’t rank but seems like it fits in with many popular names.
Linus also reminds me of [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Simon[/name_m]- I’m not sure if I see it rising but it’s an unpopular choice (doesn’t rank in the top 1000) that seems to go along style-wise.
Other similar names (in sound or style) that don’t rank: Argo, [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], [name_u]Reeve[/name_u], [name_u]Auden[/name_u], [name_m]Ansel[/name_m], and [name_m]Eben[/name_m]!
I love, love the suggestion of [name_m]Elio[/name_m]! Other possibilities…

[name_m]Booker[/name_m]
[name_u]Channing[/name_u]
[name_m]Tulley[/name_m]
I’m not sure if these names are outside the top 1000 but these names I can see will start making a bit of a come back and are in a similar camp to names you mentioned above.

[name_u]Nico[/name_u]
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]

I see I have a lot in common with previous posters (I do like these kinds of names). I don’t expect this to rise, but I would love [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] as a boy’s middle name.
