I posted here before but we are still really struggling to agree! My kids are [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. My husband really likes [name_m]Simon[/name_m] but I’m just not in love with it. What do you think of [name_m]Jonah[/name_m]? Too close to [name_u]Noah[/name_u]? If you had to pick between the two what would you pick?
Of the two, I would pick [name_m]Simon[/name_m] only because I feel that [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] is too similar sounding to [name_u]Noah[/name_u].

I also agree that [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] is pretty similar to [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. Are you comfortable with that? It doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Parents give their children similar sounding names all the time. Unless you feel like it’s something that would bother you immensely later on, you should pick [name_m]Jonah[/name_m]. 
I like [name_m]Simon[/name_m], so that’s what I would pick. [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] do seem pretty similar. I like the suggestion of [name_m]Ezra[/name_m].
I prefer [name_m]Simon[/name_m] anyways, but also choose it over [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] because of the closeness to [name_u]Noah[/name_u].

I would pick Simon with your sibset. Do you like Simeon better than Simon? Perhaps your husband would compromise

I really like both names. I think [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] are similar but i don’t think it matters in this case. No one will ask their siblings’ names when they are an adult, only children. [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] are similar but not in the sense that you will stumble over their names when calling them (I mean, more so than we already do as moms, right? haha). I do really like [name_m]Simon[/name_m], though. I think it’s underrated.
