Simone, Savannah, and Sienna. Too close for cousins?

I really love the name [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]. However, as a name nerd I was over thinking this name and thought maybe it is too close to the name [name_u]Simone[/name_u], my niece’s name on one side of the family, and too close to the name [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], the name of a niece on the other side of our family. I think they are too close for sure for sisters, but what about for cousins? [name_u]Simone[/name_u]'s nn is [name_m]Simmy[/name_m], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]'s nn would be Ceecee, and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] gets called Savvy. There are lots of other cousins as well.

I think it is absolutely fine for cousins. I agree, not for siblings.

I think it’s fine for cousins. We have an [name_f]Emily[/name_f], an [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and an [name_f]Amy[/name_f] (all cousins) on one side of the family.

I wouldn’t worry about cousins names. I know many people do but you don’t introduce them to other people as a set, at most times you se them on holidays and maybe have a play-date once in a while. I personally wouldn’t even have a problem with cousins sharing the same name (if you love it, there’s a good chance someone else finds it beautiful too, said someone might even be your sister, brother, etc.).
It doesn’t seem close to [name_u]Simone[/name_u] at all and might sound a bit like [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] but if you still love [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], go for it!
