[name]Hi[/name], we are looking for a pretty, simple and sweet name for our daughter. We already have one son whose name is [name]Peter[/name].
Opinions on our list and any other suggestions would be really appriciated.
You already have a very pretty list of choices. I love [name]Sarah[/name] with [name]Peter[/name]! I just named my baby girl [name]Sarah[/name]-[name]Katherine[/name] so I am a bit partial I would say to [name]Sarah[/name] right now.
Some other short and sweet ones I thought of (sorry for any repeats)
I know a [name]Peter[/name], [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Sarah[/name] set. I think both [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Sarah[/name] fit that criteria nicely. [name]Anna[/name] also immediately popped to mind. I love [name]Polly[/name]! I think [name]Peter[/name] and [name]Polly[/name] is sweet.
I know some of these have already been mentioned, but I thought that maybe if some names get repeated many times, that might give you an indication of which ones lots of people think are “simple and sweet”.
From your list, I like [name]Abby[/name] ([name]Abigail[/name] to give her the choice of a more formal name as she grows up) and [name]Grace[/name]. I also like [name]Kayla[/name].
As for other names, I like [name]Katerina[/name] ([name]Kate[/name] or [name]Rina[/name]) and [name]Melissa[/name] ([name]Lissa[/name])
My overall favorite is [name]Laura[/name] for this list. I also like [name]Sarah[/name], [name]June[/name], [name]Nora[/name], [name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Alice[/name].
I love all your names except:
[name]Abby[/name] – go with full [name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Kayla[/name] – dated
[name]Sara[/name] – go with [name]Sarah[/name]. [name]Sara[/name] always seems to be missing something.
[name]Madeline[/name] – not bad but a little too storybookish. It reminds me of the orphan. Why not the softer [name]Madeleine[/name] (mad-uh-lehn or mad-uh-lin)?
