I’m looking for some single syllable names for a first middle.
It’s three syllable first one syllable first middle and Bardou.
Any ideas? My little one is already very spunky. Her nickname is [name_m]Rockie[/name_m] because first ultrasound she punched, not pushed, punched at the wand. The second, she was in fighting stance and third not even a bit cooperative taking anatomy pictures. Now she’s big enough to have ‘boxing matches’ with her daddy.
Originally it was going to be Psalm but it’s not her personality.
[name_m]Rune[/name_m] was on the table as well as [name_m]Wild[/name_m]/Wilde.
[name_f]Lux[/name_f]?
[name_f]Eir[/name_f]?
Any first middle ideas for my spunky one? Also probably pray for me given everything I just told you all haha. Sounds like I’ll have my hands full!
Dare is a spunky surname name, borne by the photographer and author Dare [name_m]Wright[/name_m] (1914-2001). Other feisty one-syllables names are [name_f]Mab[/name_f]/Maev and [name_f]Ska[/name_f] (a modern short form of [name_f]Franziska[/name_f], as borne by [name_m]German[/name_m] politician [name_f]Franziska[/name_f] “[name_f]Ska[/name_f]” [name_m]Keller[/name_m]).
I prefer Dare to [name_m]Wild[/name_m], as suggested by a previous poster. [name_m]Rune[/name_m] is not my style, but it sounds more studious than spunky to me—[name_u]Rue[/name_u], as suggested by another poster, sounds spunkier to my ear. Also like the suggestions of [name_f]Greer[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_u]Wynn[/name_u]. Wrens are curious, active and won’t be pushed around by other birds! Sounds like a great name inspiration for your girl.
@bedhead I was looking at [name_f]Neve[/name_f]. I thought it was pronounced [name_u]Nev[/name_u]- not [name_f]Neve[/name_f] rhyming with [name_f]Eve[/name_f].
