Which name do you like more?
[name_f]Sirena[/name_f] as I am unsure how to pronounce Sereia. I prefer the [name_f]Serena[/name_f] spelling for [name_f]Sirena[/name_f] though as [name_f]Sirena[/name_f] is a tuna brand in Australia
I love the look of Sereia and it’s meaning/translation. It’s too difficult to pronounce, though. I agree with emiliana–I would choose [name_f]Sirena[/name_f], and spell it [name_f]Serena[/name_f].
[name_f]Sirena[/name_f], but I prefer the [name_f]Serena[/name_f] spelling, for the meaning, and because [name_f]Sirena[/name_f] is a brand of tinned tuna in Australia. [name_f]Sirena[/name_f] is also based upon the Siren’s of Greek myth, who lured sailor’s to their death’s, like the mermaid-like figures on [name_f]Sirena[/name_f] tuna.
I prefer [name_f]Sirena[/name_f]! I’m one of the few who actually like this spelling more, because it means mermaid in Spanish
I’ve never heard of the brand, and I think the greek myth is awesome. I love the sound of just Siren, but obviously that would not be a good name for a kid.
