We are struggling to find a name for baby sister! We have an [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] [name_u]Amos[/name_u] (goes by [name_m]Ben[/name_m]). I always do a special family name as a middle name but am struggling with this one.
We have an a long very Italian name ending in -tana so some some names are out (anna for example would rhyme, some seem too long or just don’t mesh with the Italian). We seem to prefer more minimalist names but am open to others - I don’t mind a little quirky names but my rule is it has to sound okay as a judge or doctor name! Haha (we an attorney/doctor couple). ALSO last problem - my daughter has cousins [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and eva that live with my mother in law and she is ALWAYS calling my daughter [name_f]Emma[/name_f] or eva and it drives us all bonkers. So unfortunately I think any E name is out. Which is a bummer because I have a family name [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I love but I don’t think grandma could handle it!
Here’s what we sort of like so far:
Liv
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and go by [name_f]Cait[/name_f] or [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or kit? I don’t like K [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. I also am a bit hesitant to have our kids be A,B,C
That’s all I got! So far we are really struggling and nothing sounds right. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is by far our favorite but anytime I tell someone that they are confused and don’t understand or like it. It was so easy with our daughter and son!
I just lost a dear aunt [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Pauline[/name_f]. I don’t think we want [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] as a first name but if we could honor her as a middle name w either [name_f]Sara[/name_f]/Sarah or [name_f]Pauline[/name_f] that would be sweet.
