Sister for Addison Elizabeth

My first little girl’s name is [name]Addison[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I now need a name for her little sister due in [name]June[/name]. I love the name [name]Caroline[/name], although I’m afraid it has been used too much around the area I live. My husband likes the name [name]Ansley[/name], and I’m currently undecided on how it sounds. What do you think? Any name suggestions? (Our last name has two syllables).

[name]Hi[/name]! What about [name]Coraline[/name] instead, [name]Cora[/name] for a Nickname? I think its much prettier and goes well with [name]Addison[/name]. And then she wont be called ‘Caz’ for short! However, [name]Carrie[/name] is not bad. Maybe with [name]Emily[/name] as a 2nd name? I personally dont like [name]Ansley[/name] I’m afraid, but what about Ainslinn? It’s Gaelic for ‘[name]Dream[/name]’. GOOD [name]LUCK[/name] [name]Jessica[/name]!

[name]Addison[/name] and:

I think that [name]Caroline[/name] goes beautifully with [name]Addison[/name]!

I also love [name]Charlotte[/name].

[name]Addison[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]

[name]Caroline[/name] goes very well! I love that name. [name]Ansley[/name] doesn’t seem very pretty to me- I prefer [name]Ainsley[/name], but prefer [name]Caroline[/name] to that!

Other suggestions:
[name]Emmeline[/name] (love this for you!)
[name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lilah[/name] (also love this for you)
[name]Amelia[/name] nn [name]Mia[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] (nice alternative to [name]Ansley[/name]?)

sry for repeats xd

I love [name]Emmeline[/name] and [name]Lila[/name]! Thank you so much for all of the suggestions!!

Maybe [name]Lila[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]?

What do you think is the best pronunciation of [name]Emmeline[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you think it could be spelled Emmelynn, as [name]Lynn[/name] is a family name. As I type it though, it doesn’t look as pretty as [name]Emmeline[/name]. Would a nickname for [name]Emmeline[/name] be [name]Emmy[/name] or [name]Emma[/name]? And finally, any middle name suggestions for [name]Emmeline[/name]?

Thank you all so much!

You could absolutely pronounce it with the lyn ending. I’d hesitate to spell it like that because [name]Emmeline[/name] seems much more classic- but if you don’t like [name]Emmeline[/name] as much, I’d spell it [name]Emmelyn[/name] or [name]Emmalyn[/name] with one n (looks a little more authentic). But I would still go with the spelling [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Lynn[/name] is still in the sound of the name.

[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Bethany[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Sasha[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Sarah[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Claudia[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Zoe[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Chloe[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Violet[/name]

Of course [name]Emma[/name] or [name]Emmy[/name] could be nicknames, and they are both adorable. So is [name]Lila[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], but I prefer [name]Emmeline[/name]. And [name]Addie[/name] and [name]Emmy[/name] sounds really sweet together, if you ever call your [name]Addison[/name] [name]Addie[/name].

[name]Addison[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is a beautiful name. I am not crazy about [name]Ansley[/name], and there are no good nn options [name]IMO[/name]. I do think [name]Caroline[/name] is really nice and would be lovely with [name]Addison[/name] as well as [name]Emmeline[/name] which is nice and love the nn [name]Emme[/name]!
Okay so hear are some more suggestions of names, sorry for any repeats:
and many of the names that are in the top 100 would fit well with [name]Addison[/name] as the styles are so versatile:

[name]Hope[/name] I was able to help! Good luck!

I like [name]Addison[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] together. I think [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] are a fabulous sister set and both lovely names on their own. I also think that [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name] go together nicely as middle names. They are of a similar style and I think they tie [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] together beautifully!

I like [name]Emmeline[/name] but I really don’t think it works with [name]Addison[/name] very well. I’ve always thought of [name]Emmeline[/name] as a very feminine, old-fashioned name whereas I see [name]Addison[/name] as a more unisex, modern name. To me, their styles simply don’t match.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
