Hello! My husband and I just recently welcomed out first child and although we are (obviously!) not yet expecting, we have come to realize that we are having a hard time finding any other name that we love as much as we love [name_f]Agatha[/name_f]'s! For me, I tend to love ‘old lady’ names. I definitely don’t like considering anything inside the top 100 and have a huge love for those treasured names that are on the ‘outside the top 1000’ list, hiding away like gems. He actually suggested [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] on a whim, out of the blue (no idea where it came from) and we both fell in love. I tend to enjoy names that can fall on the love it or hate it scale, which [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] has been known to do – it seems to be a name that grows on you!
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is cute but to the point. Names that I think are similar in feel and sound are…
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Prudence[/name_f]
[name_f]Ursula[/name_f]
[name_f]Gertrude[/name_f]
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f]
[name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is adorable!! I actually think [name_f]Gladys[/name_f] is a beautiful name - I knew a lovely old lady with the name when I was a kid, and have always adored it since then. It reminds me of the gladiolus flower. I don’t like that nameberry calls it a “dead” name that will never come back.
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] & [name_f]Gladys[/name_f] - they sound like best friends to me
I like [name_f]Edith[/name_f] with [name_f]Agatha[/name_f]. You could chose another flower middle name, like [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] could work as well.
I love [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is adorable. The suggestion of [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is lovely - I think [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] make a perfect sister combo. Agatha and Sylvie would be cute too.
