Sister for Anneliese

I’m having the hardest time coming up with a name for DD #2. Preferably something [name_m]German[/name_m] (husband is [name_m]German[/name_m] and all his family still lives there) or at least something that they can easily pronounce but won’t get her strange looks here in [name_u]America[/name_u]. Her older sister is [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] (pronounced [name_f]Ahna[/name_f]-leez-uh). This is my list so far:

[name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f]

Which would you pick? Or better suggestions?

I should mention that there are some other names I like but are already taken by other family members- [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Katrin[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f] are all out.

I like [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] or [name_f]Britta[/name_f] the best.

My vote goes to [name_f]Britta[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].

[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is gorgeous! It is a name that I like but DH has bad associations with it, unfortunately. We seem to have some similar tastes, though, as my DH’s family is very in touch with their [name_m]German[/name_m] heritage and he insists on using names from Germany or used in Germany. Here are some that we like, as well as some other suggestions.

Of your choices I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] best. [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] sound like a sweet set of sisters!
