So I think we’ve narrowed the list down to the 3 below. I’ve had so much trouble with my girls list for our second baby due in [name]March[/name]! They are all different styles, all have their pros & cons & all have a family connection somewhere in first or mn. Our surname starts with T, is 2 syllable & ends in ‘ey’.
My DH is leaning heavily towards [name]Scarlett[/name]. My only worry is that it’s cute/sweet etc now but does it work on a 30 or 60 year old? I like that it reaches across a lot of styles - it comes across as sweet but fiery & confident too. I love the whole package of [name]Greer[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] but don’t know if I could use [name]Greer[/name] a thousand times a day. I really like its unique-ness though. And [name]Eden[/name] just seems so classic, so lovely.
My fav out of your list is [name]Scarlett[/name] and I think it can work well at any age. I knew a [name]Greer[/name] who wasn’t a very nice person, so that’s colored my perception of that name. I also really don’t like [name]Eden[/name].
My favorite is [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] or switching [name]Greer[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] around. I think [name]Scarlett[/name] will age well with her.
I really like [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]!
[name]Eden[/name] is my second choice (:
I really dont like [name]Greer[/name], it can unfortunately be made fun of very easily
Amd concerning when [name]Scarlett[/name] is an adult, i can picture it because its going to be well known for adults to have that name in like 20 years or so
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is adorable and the nn [name]Edie[/name] is perfect is perfect with [name]Archer[/name]. [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] and then [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Frances[/name] would be by next choices. [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] is a perfect combo but I don’t like the repetitive AR sounds in Ar and Scar together.
I think [name]Scarlett[/name] will age well. Actually sometimes I feel [name]Scarlett[/name] might be almost too much on a baby. [name]Scarlett[/name] definitely gets my vote
I prefer [name]Greer[/name] or [name]Scarlett[/name] as first names. I like the [name]Greer[/name] combo as is. I prefer [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Frances[/name] of those options.
Similar to [name]Greer[/name] have you considered [name]Greta[/name], [name]Galla[/name], [name]Garnet[/name] (also similar to [name]Scarlett[/name]), [name]Gwen[/name], [name]Glenna[/name], [name]Greet[/name]/Griet?
Anything but [name]Greer[/name] - it’s very unattractive and rhymes with a bunch of unpleasant things. (drear…gear…) - very harsh and not feminine at all. (it’s also becoming quite well used, so it lacks that unique quality you like.)
[name]Scarlet[/name], while not a personal favorite, is a great choice, I think it ages well. I love [name]Eden[/name], though - I find it very chic and modern.
I like [name]Scarlett[/name] quinn and [name]Eden[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]. I would love it if both of these combos were my own name, so I definitely think they work for any age adult. when she’s a baby I think [name]Edie[/name] is adorable, but not sure if there is a good nn for [name]Scarlett[/name]. (not that u need one, but it just got me thinking)
Btw. [name]Love[/name] asher
I think [name]Eden[/name] goes best with [name]Archer[/name], and [name]Eden[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is a pretty combo!
I think [name]Greer[/name] and [name]Scarlett[/name] are a bit too different style wise to go with [name]Arthur[/name], but [name]Eden[/name] sounds really nice with it.
Yes, the nickname possibilities was one of the first things I thought of for [name]Scarlett[/name]. There’s a whole heap I don’t think I like - [name]Carla[/name], [name]Carly[/name], [name]Lettie[/name] etc but I did see someone else’s suggestion of [name]Scout[/name], which is a bit fresher. Thanks for your comments!
