[name_u]Baby[/name_u] number three is coming soon. Her older sisters are [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] and [name_m]Merrick[/name_m]. Our last name is two syllables and ends in “er”.
We tend to like unique but “no frills” girl names. Right now our favourite is [name_u]Senna[/name_u], but [name_u]Juno[/name_u] and [name_u]Alba[/name_u] are also on the list. I really love [name_u]Dagny[/name_u], but my partner isn’t convinced.
Looking for opinions on what we have as well other suggestions that will go with our sibset.
A few names sprang to mind for me…these feel somewhere between the mythical/ethereal [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] and surname-y/cool [name_m]Merrick[/name_m]. I’ve also avoided banes beginning with A & M so they’re all different.
FWIW I think both of your girls’ names feel fantasy-esque in their own unique way and I really love that - especially since they aren’t matchy offhand.
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] and [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] are very cool - [name_u]Senna[/name_u], [name_u]Juno[/name_u] and [name_u]Alba[/name_u] are lovely - [name_u]Senna[/name_u] is wonderful in particular!!
From your list I like [name_u]Juno[/name_u] the best. [name_u]Juno[/name_u] is playful without being frilly and sounds so sweet with [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] & [name_m]Merrick[/name_m]. I like the idea of [name_u]Senna[/name_u] but it sounds like sinner said with an accent and it throws me a little bit.
Maybe one of these would work for you:
[name_f]Sanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
[name_u]Rossi[/name_u]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Landry[/name_u]
[name_u]Temple[/name_u]
[name_u]Destry[/name_u]
[name_f]Leona[/name_f]
[name_f]May[/name_f] I suggest: [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] and [name_f]Luned[/name_f]? [name_f]Luned[/name_f] is a literature name like [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] as well as a Welsh name like [name_m]Merrick[/name_m].
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_m]Merrick[/name_m], & [name_u]Senna[/name_u] is so unusual! I’ve never given much thought to [name_u]Senna[/name_u] before but it does sound very pleasing. I also like how [name_u]Juno[/name_u] ends in an “o” which in our culture seems more masculine which would fit in with [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] and even [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] seems slightly gender neutral to me.
