I am having a hard time choosing a girl name that might fit with my other kiddos.
I have a
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] Novena ([name_f]Belle[/name_f])
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Rex[/name_u]
[name_f]Luciana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] ([name_f]Lucy[/name_f])
Any suggestions for a baby sister for those names? I am in my third trimester and EVERYONE is hounding me to narrow it down but I don’t know…I just haven’t heard or read anything that I love yet. I would like something that is long and romantic but has a cute nn and that is more spanish.
What beautiful names your children have! [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] sound great together!
For another girl, I would suggest…
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] (I know it’s not long but I think it sounds great with the other three), or
[name_f]Violette[/name_f] - I also love this with the other three names. Plus, it is long and romantic, with the beautiful nickname options of [name_f]Vi[/name_f]/[name_f]Violet[/name_f]/[name_f]Viola[/name_f]/[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
I don’t like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] but I like your spelling of [name_f]Violette[/name_f]. Thanks you, I love my other kids names so I want this baby’s name to fit with them. My son [name_m]Henry[/name_m] suggested
What a beautiful sibset.
I love the suggestion of [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] nn [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] for you.
Also;
[name_u]Carmen[/name_u] nn [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] or [name_f]Mena[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lettie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Rosy[/name_f]
[name_f]Bonita[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] nn [name_u]Connie[/name_u]
I feel like [name_f]Nora[/name_f] would go really well with [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. What about something along the lines of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]/[name_f]Eleonora[/name_f]/[name_f]Lenora[/name_f]/[name_f]Leonora[/name_f]? I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/etc. nn [name_f]Lena[/name_f] would be really cute with [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], too–is [name_f]Lena[/name_f] too close to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] for you?
[name_f]Lena[/name_f] is close to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is my father n laws mom born in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] so he would love it. I like Elanora/[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but I think it’s meaning is the same as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] meaning. [name_m]Light[/name_m]?
I am seeing a lot of names that I have considered…
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]- [name_f]Evie[/name_f]
I’ve never heard that [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] means the same thing as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]? I’ve heard that it means “pity” in Greek, or “God is my light” in Arabic (which, I’m not familiar with the Arabic ties at all), or that it’s a variant of [name_f]Helen/name_f, meaning “reed; wicker; shoot; torch; basket”. I think I just pushed [name_f]Lena[/name_f] because I’m in love with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lena[/name_f] so much. I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f] definitely could work–besides the “L”, the only sound they share in common is “ee”, which are in different areas of the name–but [name_f]Nora[/name_f] would be nice, too. I’m not the hugest [name_f]Nora[/name_f] fan, but I certainly do think it fits with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and even [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Belle[/name_f], I suppose. I think [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f] (or even [name_f]Eva[/name_f]) would be sweet with [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], too!
What about [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], nickname [name_f]Addie[/name_f]/[name_f]Ada[/name_f]? We are thinking of using this name for our baby girl…[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f].
[name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Addie[/name_f]/[name_f]Ada[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] are both very romantic names, and their nicknames are sweet and succinct. I would pair similar formal names that have short, spunky nicknames:
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] nn [name_u]Fran[/name_u]/[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]/[name_u]Frannie[/name_u]
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f]
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] nn [name_u]Val[/name_u]
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] nn [name_u]Allie[/name_u]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f] (I know your kids don’t like it but I couldn’t resist)
[name_f]Katerina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Kat[/name_f]/[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Leonora[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] ([name_f]Katerina[/name_f]/[name_f]Katarina[/name_f] or [name_f]Catalina[/name_f]) and [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] ([name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]) are my favorites. Good luck!
