Sister for Bennett and Owen?

So, we just found out the wonderful news on [name]Valentine[/name]‘s [name]Day[/name] that we are expecting! I am sooo happy and excited. You guys really helped me with boy names (and I am suspecting I may be carrying a boy) however, I would like to now get some ideas for girls’ names. The boy names I like so far are [name]Owen[/name] [name]Martin[/name] and [name]Bennett[/name] Calhound combos.

For girls: so far I have

[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Woolf[/name] (I think [name]Susannah[/name] would make a nice sister for [name]Bennett[/name]

[name]Charlotte[/name] Esmee [name]Woolf[/name] (DH likes [name]Charlotte[/name] but i am concerned with trendiness/popularity)

[name]Stella[/name] [name]Catharine[/name] [name]Woolf[/name] (I think this would complement [name]Owen[/name])

What’s your opinions on these, and PLEASE can you think of any others that might work with our style? Thanks so much berries!!

[name]Susannah[/name] I don’t like at all.
[name]Charlotte[/name] is far from trendy! It’s a bit popular online, but in actuality I don’t think it’s popular at all. I think it will end up being popular in upcoming years though. But it’s 100% far from trendy.
[name]Stella[/name] fits [name]Bennett[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] wonderfully.

Other ideas:
[name]Evangeline[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name]/[name]Amalia[/name]
[name]Lila[/name]
[name]Cordelia[/name] nn [name]Delia[/name]
[name]Hanna[/name]
[name]Melanie[/name]
[name]Odette[/name]
[name]Odelle[/name]/[name]Adele[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name]

[name]Charlotte[/name] is at the top of our list too. If you live in New [name]England[/name], it is very popular (about 14th), but less so in other parts if the country. I love it! [name]Susannah[/name] is beautiful too, [name]Stella[/name] is nms.

Thanks for the responses. We live in [name]Georgia[/name]. I believe [name]Charlotte[/name] is more popular up north, and I can handle that. I have never even met a little [name]Charlotte[/name] in real life even though it’s the #1 name on nameberry. :-] My husband also loves charlotte and it’s rare for him to like any name I suggest… so it may be a front-runner if this baby is a girl. I am having feelings it is a boy though… so we shall see!

Thanks for the other suggestions. I love [name]Caroline[/name], but that is the name of a close friend’s daughter. [name]Lilah[/name] is lovely, but we have one right down the street…I’ve always liked [name]Adele[/name] but worried about the singer connection, since she is wildly popular right now. We both like [name]Amelia[/name] although again, I would feel i was "stealing’ that name since she’s the daughter of my husband’s coworker’s girlfriend, and we have hung out with them several times… sooo I want my baby to have her / his own name

I love [name]Charlotte[/name], I also love [name]Margaret[/name] as a first name with either [name]Owen[/name] or [name]Bennett[/name]…I esp. love the nn “[name]Maggie[/name]”, but [name]Margo[/name] could also work, not so much with [name]Owen[/name] though I guess. [name]Stella[/name] is pretty, but I don’t like it as much as the others on your list for some reason. My favorites are [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Pheobe[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name]. [name]Adele[/name] is seems to get a great match with a lot of names as a mn.

Congratulations! [name]Owen[/name] [name]Martin[/name] and [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Calhoun[/name] are wonderful combinations for a boy. I would love to see them with a sister named [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Esme[/name], or even [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]!

I like the sibset [name]Owen[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] a lot. My son went to school with an [name]Owen[/name] and he had a younger sister named [name]Stella[/name].

I like [name]Charlotte[/name] but it is very popular in some areas.

[name]Bennett[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] is a nice sibet too.

Congrats!

thanks!!!

I love [name]Charlotte[/name]! If you don’t mind the similar -t endings for [name]Bennett[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], that would get my vote completely. It’s sweet, classic, and girly, and the total opposite of trendy, imo! I think the more spunky [name]Stella[/name] also works very well with [name]Bennett[/name] and [name]Owen[/name]… it just depends on which way you’d like to go. I don’t think you could go wrong with either!

Good luck!

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
[name]Charlotte[/name] has just the right girly vibe with a somewhat masculine sounding surname (not meaning to offend).

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Adele[/name] [name]Woolf[/name] sounds very pretty, if you wanted to stay away from any link to the singer how about:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Woolf[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Woolf[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Woolf[/name]

I like the way [name]Charlotte[/name] can have adaptable nn: [name]Charli[/name], [name]Lottie[/name], [name]Carly[/name].

[name]Owen[/name] is a great name, and [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Calhoun[/name] matches brilliantly.
