Sister for Caleb & Via (Olivia)

[name_m]Long[/name_m] time lurker here posting for advice. I have a 7 year old son and a 3 year old daughter, [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] (sometimes [name_u]Cal[/name_u]) & [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (NN [name_f]Via[/name_f]). We found out today our third baby is a girl and we are stuck for ideas. We have a long list but nothing is standing out for us. For a boy we had liked [name_m]Joel[/name_m], [name_u]Reid[/name_u], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], [name_m]Abram[/name_m], [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_m]Josiah[/name_m].

So far we like [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Via[/name_f]’ and…

[name_f]Annalise[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Addie[/name_f]’
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Maddie[/name_f]’
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Edie[/name_f]’
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]

None are standing out. I really love [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]… does [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] & [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] sound ok? I feel like [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] stands out a little too much. Idk. My husband isnt a huge fan. I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] right now too.

[name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f]… does that sound ok?
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]? [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Via[/name_f] & [name_f]Addie[/name_f]… I like that.

As you an see I like them to sound nice together, lol. Hubby says I over think it as [name_f]Via[/name_f] is quite a unique nickname… most people think it’s her full name.

Which do you like?
And if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them… I need some new names to ponder!

[name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] sounds lovely!!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] makes me think of the clothing brand, but they sound darling, too!

I also like:
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], and:

[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] (close to what you have)
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Marissa[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Tess[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Emilie[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Paige[/name_f]
[name_f]Nicole[/name_f]

I quite like [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] actually! Although it looks longer than the rest, it’s actually shorter than [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (in syllables) so I think it fits right in. I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], but it almost feels predictable but I think that’s because it matches so well with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is okay, not my favorite but that’s just me!
My favorites from your list are [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. I would say [name_f]Edith[/name_f] as well because I love the nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f], but I don’t think [name_f]Edith[/name_f] works well with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]… what do you think of [name_u]Eden[/name_u] nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f] instead? [name_f]Briar[/name_f] would also be adorable with your other two.

Other suggestions:

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Mae[/name_f])
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Lou[/name_u])

Thoughts on these suggestions? Congratulations on #3!

[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] stands out to me personally, but that’s mainly because [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] is my favorite boys’ name, and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is my third favorite girls’ name ([name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is my first). [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] just seem to go together, to me. I love the idea of [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], and [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], though ([name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is less common, but [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] are so dainty and beautiful together, and I don’t think its difference matters TOO much). [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] are all great, too. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] works nicely, but I don’t like it like some of your other favorites. What about:

[name_f]Ariana[/name_f]/[name_f]Arianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Elora[/name_f]
[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]/[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Catarina[/name_f]/[name_f]Catalina[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]

Good luck!

[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] would be perfect!

If you like [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], I say go for it. If your husband isn’t sold, that’s a different story…
[name_f]Annalise[/name_f] does not particularly sound good with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but that could change. [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] could be called [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], [name_u]Allie[/name_u] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f], which all sound great with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. Because you like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], it could be your nickname for [name_f]Annalise[/name_f].
If you like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], too, and if your husband likes it, I think that may be a good choice as well. If you like unique nicknames, [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] can provide. Nicknames could be [name_f]Addie[/name_f] (as you plan), [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Della[/name_f], [name_u]Dale[/name_u] and [name_f]Leda[/name_f]. This name is on the rise in popularity, but I don’t think that should effect the name you love.

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] goes best with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_m]Caleb[/name_m].

I love love [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] & [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]! My sister’s middle name is [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and if my mum had another boy his name would have [name_m]Caleb[/name_m].

From your list my top 3 are [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] would also work but I personally don’t think they have the same feel as [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. Here’s some suggestions:
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]

[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!

From your list i like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].

[name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] “[name_f]Via[/name_f]” and…

Good luck!

Your children have beautiful names! You have lovely taste - distinctly beautiful yet not excessively frilly, widely recognised and familiar to most whilst being complete with unique inbuilt nicknaming options. My primary suggestion in keeping with the above would be [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], as you have already expressed a particular liking for the combination of [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_f]Addie[/name_f] and [name_f]Via[/name_f]. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] also offers a plethora of other nicknaming options, including [name_f]Lina[/name_f], [name_f]Della[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ina[/name_f] and more, all of which are more than wearable and some of which are the very embodiment of spunk, just like [name_f]Via[/name_f]. Another of [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]'s perks is that it combines two of your aforementioned shortlisted names: [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is another subtly beautiful name that fits all the above criteria, as is [name_f]Ariana[/name_f].

My other recommendations would include [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Amalia[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f].

Congratulations on baby number 3! Best of luck to you all.
