I like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] with [name_u]Camden[/name_u], but [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_u]Camden[/name_u] end in a similar sound. That throws me off a bit.

[name_f]Kate[/name_f] can stand on it’s own. I know a few [name_f]Kate[/name_f]'s who do not have a longer name. One toes by [name_f]Katie[/name_f], one goes by Her first and middle name- [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and the other two just go by [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. I know two [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]'s who got by [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. One wished her name was simply [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

Here are some other suggestions with [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as a nn…
[name_f]Katerina[/name_f]
[name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
Katelina/[name_f]Catalina[/name_f]- [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], Duchess of Cambridge- [name_f]Kate[/name_f] Middleton’s full name is [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f] not [name_f]Cait[/name_f], [name_f]Cat[/name_f], or [name_f]Cate[/name_f] so I can see [name_f]Catalina[/name_f] working.
Katriel
[name_f]Katya[/name_f]
[name_f]Karina[/name_f]- a stretch maybe
[name_f]Katrina[/name_f]

I agree that [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] sounds slightly better than [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] for the reason that [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] start and end with the same sounds.

Go simple but sweet with [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] are amazing together!

I like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as a sister to [name_u]Camden[/name_u].

I like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]Camden[/name_u] together better than [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_u]Camden[/name_u] because [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] doesn’t have the right feel or sound right with [name_u]Camden[/name_u]. I also love [name_f]Cate[/name_f]! It would be so cute with the whole same letter thing, but if that’s not your thing, never mind.

I also like:
[name_f]Bella[/name_f]
Cecila

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Kadence[/name_f]/[name_f]Cadence[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaley[/name_f] (my favorite spelling, but any variation would work)

[name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Laural[/name_f]
[name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]

Thanks! That is helpful to know that you know a few people named just [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (not as a nickname). That is what I have been leaning towards, but my husband is wanting to do [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] because he thinks it sounds more formal and she’ll have more options for other nicknames later on if she wants. I personally prefer a shorter name - since I’m [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and I go by [name_f]Liz[/name_f], I think it can be kind of a hassle sometimes using a name that isn’t technically my legal name.

I actually thought of using the spelling “[name_f]Cate[/name_f]” with a C because I thought it would be cute to use the same letter, but then I got worried that people will constantly be spelling her name wrong - lol. It is a cute idea though, I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought so - thanks!

From your list, I also like: [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] - thanks for the suggestions!

[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] It’s very sweet. I think [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] clash.

I don’t think it matters that [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] are different styles, because you would be calling then “[name_u]Camden[/name_u] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f].”

I am one of those that hates nicknames as full names. People need options. I know a lot of people who have nicknames on their birth certificates and they hate it. (Some may love their nickname. But that’s the beauty of options…). [name_f]My[/name_f] boss constantly has people tell her “You need to use your FULL NAME on this form.”

I like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f]/[name_f]Katelyn[/name_f] for [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Kate[/name_f]. Pp gave some good suggestions of other names too. I like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Kate[/name_f] in the middle spot as well.
