Sister for Charlotte and Beatrice???

I am having a third girl and need naming help. My girls are [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] ("[name_f]Bea[/name_f]"). The current front runners for number three are [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (both family names), but we are looking for other suggestions. Is it too much to name her [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]? Thanks!

Crazy, before even reading your post, I thought of recommending the name [name_f]Louise[/name_f]! I think that’s the clear winner for me. [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. But I also like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], so you can’t go wrong!

I thinks it is a nice fit. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] has so many fun nick names to offer too.

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is lovely and fits well with her sisters. But if your looking for suggestions…

[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Regina[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamond[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f]

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is lovely and fits well with your sibset. I also like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as combinations of these names.

I like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] but if you are indeed looking for alternatives your girls’ first names are both royal (as are [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f]) - so consider other royal women’s names like [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandrina[/name_f]/[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Adela[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] etc.

Probably best not to use [name_f]Eugenie[/name_f] though!

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is awesome…the nn’s I love best are [name_f]Margo[/name_f] & [name_f]Greta[/name_f].

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] would also be lovely.

The first thing I thought when I read the title was [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sounds gorgeous though.

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is a lovely name with tons of great namesakes, and it’s great that it has meaning for you. Here are more suggestions:

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] (I like it better than [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and it still honours your family member)
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]/[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] (We pronounced [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] uh-meel-ee-uh when we did [name_m]Othello[/name_m] in English class, which is also how I say [name_f]Amelia[/name_f])
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]/[name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
[name_f]Pauline[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]
[name_f]Augusta[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]

Sorry for repeats! I agree with the suggestions about royal names. From the list above… [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Philippa[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] were all English or British queen consorts ([name_f]Caroline[/name_f] wasn’t the greatest though…). And of course two queens were named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

[name_f]Love[/name_f] it. Pairs nicely to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].

I also vote for [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! I think it pairs nicely with the other two.

However, [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sounds lovely as well.

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonora[/name_f]

Thank you for all the posts. No decisions yet, but your responses have gotten us thinking!!!

I love [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] with big sisters names.
Some other ideas
sorry for any repeats!
