Not expecting myself but my sister needs an girl’s name to go with [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] (boy).
She really liked [name_u]Riley[/name_u] but her partner is worried with [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] this will get him mistaken for a girl and make his name a bit more feminine. I see his point but she is struggling with names and finds the two I have suggested, [name_f]Raya[/name_f] and Sienne to be a bit too out there.
I love [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]! It’s smart, classic, handsome & not terribly common w/out being weird. [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is just meh in my opinion. It’s sooo popular & trendy. And it feels like a cowboy name to me. Not very feminine.
So far my sister is really loving the suggestions of [name_f]Kyra[/name_f], [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], [name_f]Callie[/name_f] (though she might use [name_f]Calla[/name_f]), [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] so far!! Please keep the suggestions coming…she’s still got plenty of time to decide what she wishes to name my future little niece.
I agree that it would be confusing knowing which is the boy and which is the girl when named [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] so I would choose something more feminine. [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and…
I agree with hubby! [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] is such a classic boy name, but unfortunately has been hijacked by trendy females. [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is quite unattractive for a little girl in my opinion. I would completely stay away from unisex names and opt for something more feminine such as [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Kyra[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f].
And I know so many big dogs with the name [name_u]Riley[/name_u]!
