Sister for Emery....

What do you think would ba a good fit with [name]Emery[/name] [name]Jane[/name]? (we mostly call her [name]Emery[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Emery[/name] no nn… Well on occasion EJ) I am totally copying [name]Carter[/name]! [name]Love[/name] this idea! You all have such great taste in names. Have at it

Hello Zard! [name]Hope[/name] you all are doing well! I’ll * the ones I like best

[name]Emery[/name] and…

Copy away, Zard!

For [name]Emery[/name]'s sister, I like…

  • [name]Alice[/name]
  • [name]Rose[/name]
  • [name]Maeve[/name]
  • [name]Elizabeth[/name] (with a nn variation)
  • [name]Frances[/name] (nn [name]Fritzi[/name])
  • What [name]Ann[/name] variation were you considering?

That’s all I’ve got for now. I really like [name]Emery[/name] and [name]Maeve[/name] together!

Thanks! I love all these suggests especially the ones I remarked on!

ABSOLUTELY [name]LOVE[/name] ALL OF THESE! [name]Annette[/name] was an [name]Ann[/name] variation I was considering. If I use [name]Ann[/name] or any variation she would most likely go by [name]Annie[/name] which I really adore.

Names that have been on my mind lately

[name]Lucy[/name] (could this be a nn for [name]Louise[/name]? Thoughts?)
[name]Sadie[/name] but only as a nn for [name]Sarah[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] (and variations)
[name]Elby[/name] (This is kind of random. Thoughts?)

These are all adorbale names but seem a little too unisex for me. I know that [name]Emery[/name] is unisex but it is a family name for us and is why we used it. I am trying to avoid another unisex/surname feeling name.

I posted a list of names that have been on my mind lately… most are kind of short and sweet. Any other suggestions on Short Sweet names or NN?

[name]Hi[/name] there!

[name]Emery[/name] is an ADORABLE baby, and I’m so happy we got to see her photo!

Have a great night!

(I apologize for repeats. I was a total slacker who didn’t read through the posts.)

I love [name]Alice[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Alma[/name], and [name]Rose[/name]!

[name]Louise[/name]-- I really like [name]Louisa[/name], but not really a fan of [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]-- This is cute… it could be a nn for [name]Louise[/name], but they have the same number of syllables, so what would the point?
[name]Annie[/name]-- Really cute… I love [name]Anne[/name]/[name]Anna[/name]/[name]Annabel[/name]/[name]Anneliese[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name]/[name]Sally[/name]-- I like both as nicknames for [name]Sarah[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]-- I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Alice[/name]!
[name]Maeve[/name]-- I love [name]Maeve[/name], too!
[name]Claire[/name]-- So pretty!
[name]Alma[/name]-- This is beautiful, too
[name]Rose[/name] (and variations)-- I love [name]Rose[/name]!
[name]Elby[/name]-- Reminds me of elbows…

More suggestions:

[name]Elsie[/name] (nn for [name]Elisabeth[/name])
[name]Tibby[/name] (nn for [name]Tabitha[/name]/[name]Elizabeth[/name])
Cici (nn for [name]Cecily[/name]/[name]Cecilia[/name])
[name]Miri[/name] (nn for [name]Miriam[/name]/[name]Miranda[/name])
[name]Sunny[/name] (nn for [name]Susanna[/name])
[name]Polly[/name] (nn for [name]Penelope[/name])
[name]Mimi[/name] (nn for [name]Amelia[/name]/[name]Miriam[/name])
[name]Lilou[/name] (nn for [name]Lillian[/name])
[name]Mali[/name] (nn for [name]Amalia[/name])

I realized that [name]Elby[/name] and [name]Emery[/name] are quite close… [name]SILLY[/name] ME!

I love many of your suggestions! Thanks!

Thank you!

I am also really feeling [name]Ruby[/name] right now!

I love [name]Ruby[/name] as a name, but with [name]Emery[/name] I think they sound too similar with the -y endings.

Did you like [name]Lucy[/name]? A cute and slightly different version is [name]Lucia[/name], which I think sounds lovely with [name]Emery[/name].

What kind of heritage do you have? It’d be lovely to have a baby name with a nod to your heritage, don’t you think?

I also noticed you liked the name [name]Rose[/name]. Here are some different forms:

  • [name]Rosalia[/name]
  • [name]Rosalin[/name]
  • [name]Rosalie[/name]
  • [name]Rosalinda[/name]
  • [name]Rosa[/name]
  • [name]Rosette[/name]
  • [name]Rosia[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] I’ve helped a little :]

[name]Hi[/name] again! I can definitely see [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Emery[/name] as sisters, as well as [name]Kate[/name] and [name]Emery[/name]. While I’m not normally a nickname-as-first-name person, there are some nicknames that feel like established first names to me, including [name]Kate[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Sally[/name], and even my name.

I really like [name]Scarlett[/name] with [name]Emery[/name], too, because for some reason, I can easily picture Southern-sounding names with [name]Emery[/name], whether they’re unisex or not.

I really love [name]Hollis[/name] with [name]Emery[/name], too.

Take care, [name]Elizabeth[/name]!

I do like [name]Lucy[/name] a lot! I am mostly Irish and [name]German[/name] with a spattering of other things… my husband doesn’t know his “real” heritage as both his parents were adopted and do not know who their birth parents are or where they were from. If I were going to acknowledge my heritage it would definately be to the Irish side. [name]Maeve[/name] is a favorite for this reason!

[name]Hollis[/name] and [name]Emery[/name] are quite cute together! [name]Scarlett[/name] is adorable too! I kind of started re examing my girl list because my husband (who I know will probably have final say on boy name if we have a son) told me wanted to use his name [name]William[/name] [name]Charles[/name] for a son (future son would go by [name]Charlie[/name]).

I like [name]Alice[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], [name]Claire[/name] & [name]Rose[/name] a lot!!
I think a y or i or ie ending is bit cutsey with [name]Emery[/name] but thats just me

[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Adele[/name]

[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Greta[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]June[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Cora[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Opal[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Myrtle[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Cleo[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Jean[/name]

Great suggestions! I just love [name]Emery[/name].

Lets see [name]Emery[/name] and (hope I don’t repeat)
