I’m so stuck on a sister’s name for our two girls, [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Mia[/name_f]. These two are quite similar (not intentional) so we wouldn’t use another E name. And because of our surname we can’t have an A name or one ending in ‘ra’.
We like classic but trendy yet not overtly popular (is this even a thing!?)
so the name [name_f]Edith[/name_f] wouldn’t work? because I kind of like the way it sounds with your other girls.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Mia[/name_f], and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Ava[/name_f]? (or [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] was the other combination that come to mind.)
Unless the first two were twins I would consider another “e” name. My cousin was the only one without an “a” name and she always hated that. My parents did two “a” names then didn’t want the third to be the odd one out. Her brother just happened to have an “a” name too, and she tried to get us to call her [name_f]Anna[/name_f] so she’d fit with everyone else. (her name is [name_f]Brianna[/name_f].)
I love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Mia[/name_f]! Absolutely beautiful names! The first name I thought of was [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. And I like the sound of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] or [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and…
[name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
My top choice for a sibling that does not start with E or end with A is [name_f]Frances[/name_f]-- I really love it with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I love the suggestion of [name_f]Edith[/name_f] though to complete the E theme-- [name_f]Eunice[/name_f] would be another great option if you decide to go this route.
Some other possibilities:
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and
I agree with “oneofthetrio.” My first thought was that it would be best to pick another E name so the new sibling doesn’t feel left out. There are so many lovely names that begin with E yet are very different from [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. The first name that comes to mind is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. It fits right in style-wise with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] as they are all long time classics that have stood the test of time. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] does begin with [name_f]EL[/name_f] as [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], however when the two are pronounced the beginning sounds are not similar at all. Some other possibilities:
[name_f]Emelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Emogene[/name_f]
[name_f]Eugenia[/name_f]
I second the idea of [name_f]Ava[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f] as the middle name.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] (might be a little short compared to [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f])
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
I’m another person who thinks you should just go with the E theme at this point so that your third daughter doesn’t feel left out of the trio. I also happen to love E names and I think [name_f]Edith[/name_f] would be wonderful with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] would also flow well, as would [name_f]Esther[/name_f].
