We cannot decide on a girl’s name and not long to go now!
Is [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] to similar to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]?
We also like [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] but not sure the two names go together?
any other name suggestions? I like the nickname [name_f]Ella[/name_f] but don’t like [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] and can’t use any names starting with M as last name starts with M.
I don’t think [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is too similar to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but there is definitely a strong similarity between the two. I prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] with [name_f]Loretta[/name_f], or even [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] (which sound really nice together!).
What if you used [name_f]Ella[/name_f] as the full name?
You can also get to [name_f]Ella[/name_f] through [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Annabella[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Daniella[/name_f], [name_f]Ariella[/name_f], [name_f]Gisella[/name_f] (similar to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]!), [name_f]Camilla[/name_f], [name_f]Emanuela[/name_f], or [name_f]Stella[/name_f].
I love [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], if you do decide to go that route!
I think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] work together, but they do have some overlap in nicknames which you’d want to avoid ([name_f]Vivi[/name_f], Vee, [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] & [name_f]Evie[/name_f], etc.). Does [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] have a nickname?
I also like [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] (which has the built in nickname [name_f]Etta[/name_f], similar to [name_f]Ella[/name_f] but fresher, in my opinion). I think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] would make cool sisters.

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] are too close, and [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] doesn’t fit style wise. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and:
I actually know siblings named [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]. (They also have another sister named [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]). I don’t think they are too close.

I think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are perfect together! I do think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] may be just a tad too close.
I think if you like the sort of similar-sounding quality of [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] (which I, too, think are just a bit too similar), I do like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], both having that long e sound at the end!
I think [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] may be too similar. Also, [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is such an unique name! It has strong french roots, and I don’t think that [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] flows with it.
But [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] does! Its the french version of [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and it means “Life”. In my opinion it goes perfectly with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].
For the charming “tt” in [name_f]Loretta[/name_f], we have [name_f]Brigitte[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], all of them goes beautifuly with your first born name’s
Some other beautiful [name_m]French[/name_m] names:
I have triplets, a boy and two girls, and my girls’ names are [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], so I happen to love them together. We call them [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivi[/name_f].
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] in my opinion are a bit too close. I agree with the above post that [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] doesn’t fit with the same style, and normally that doesn’t bother me but for some reason it does here. It’s still not the same style but perhaps [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] or [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]? You can reach [name_f]Ella[/name_f] with [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] as well.
