I love several of these depending on the reasons you love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] for the botanical ties, and calm and serious nature.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] for cozy vintage vibes.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] for names both timeless and on-trend.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] for the energy of the zippy Z!
[name_f][/name_f]
Honestly, [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] are two of my very favorite names which makes it hard to pick! I might go for a full name like [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
With [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], I love: [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f], [name_f]Eden[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], and [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Vita[/name_f], [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_m]Sunny[/name_m], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Verity[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] came to mind too
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites for a sister to [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] would be: [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Eden[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]Surprisingly I also like [name_m]Lake[/name_m] (although i prefer the [name_m]Laike[/name_m] spelling)
[name_f][/name_f]
Others not on your list that i like: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Noemi[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Yvette[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Indigo[/name_f] / [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- although this may be too colour forward
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is an established name, vintage and nature inspired so my go to would also be a familiar vintage darling: [name_f]Fern[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
However, if you want to lean more into the woodsy or bohemian vibe I would go with: [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f], [name_f]Valley[/name_f] or [name_f]Fern[/name_f].
With [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] I like [name_f]Fern[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], and [name_f]Margot[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] best! I do like [name_m]Sorrel[/name_m] too but depends whether the matching endings bother you (eg if you wanted to have more sibs and then there’s a pattern). Same with [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] and that matchy Z’
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Solstice[/name_f] is a real GP of mine and I’d love to meet one, but whilst [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is a nature name it’s so much more name-y and established that I’m afraid they are mismatched. It would make a great middle though! [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Solstice[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Solstice[/name_f] …? Especially as she’s a [name_f]June[/name_f] baby!
Haz3l is such a sweet name really warm with cottagecore imagery attached.
[name_f][/name_f]
Looking at your list I really love as a first name for older sister Haz3l [name_f]Fern[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] & [name_f]Eden[/name_f]. [name_m]You[/name_m] have so many lovely options but they do feel very stylistically different in comparison to sweet vintage Haz3l.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts in order of preference…
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Fern[/name_f] is my first favourite she is such a sweet botanical choice which feels wholesome and cosy paired with Haz3l this sibling set feels very autumnal I can picture them wearing cosy knits, yellow wellies running through leaves laughing. Very sweet sibling set.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] is my second favourite she is a classic choice that has a [name_f]British[/name_f] school girl feel to her. [name_f]Florence[/name_f] has botanical connotations along with being a fun place name choice. She’s stylish feels very current especially paired with Haz3l along with pretty springtime imagery. This sibling set feels very daily telegraph I like the overall vibe.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is my third favourite she is a lovely name she’s chic with a stylish old school Hollywood glamour vibe. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] moves you away from botanical options which prevents pigeonholing for potential future children whilst still feeling really cohesive with older sister Haz3l. [name_m]The[/name_m] sibling set feels very Shoreditch ‘it’ girl a vibe I like a lot.
[name_f][/name_f]
Finally my final favourite is [name_f]Eden[/name_f] she feels more modern in comparison too Haz3l and the other options listed above but I think the nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f] provides a vintage flair which is in keeping with Haz3l. [name_f]Eden[/name_f] is a lovely nature inspired choice with connections to the bible I think she’s lovely.
I also like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] for the shared Z. [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] [name_f]Simone[/name_f], or [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would be pretty.
From this list, I’d personally keep Fern, Frances, Florence, Sorrel, Solstice, Margot, Zinnia, and Valley. If I were naming her sister, I’d go with Fern!
You’ve got such a beautiful list though. I truly think you can’t go wrong.
Thank you everyone for the replies [name_f][/name_f]- seems like there are some clear favorites in the mix! [name_f]My[/name_f] love for [name_f]Margot[/name_f] has been reignited, BUT our last name starts with “Row” and is two syllables. Does this seem too close to [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_m]Robbie[/name_m], or am I overthinking it?
Frances is an amazing name, and Hazel and Frances are so warm and vintage together.
I also really like Florence for you. Hazel and Florence sound good to me, a bit storybook but elegant.
Margot and Fern are great as well.
I can’t really say anything about the Margot Robbie connection without knowing your surname (is there a ‘b’ in there? does it end in ‘ee’?). It doesn’t have to be a deal-breaker.
