Sister for Honour Elisabeth?

Last year I had a beautiful baby girl and with the help of you Nameberries we called her [name]Honour[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name]… Now I have just found out I am expecting baby #2!

If it is a girl I am considering the name [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Grace[/name]

What is your opinion on these names? Which do you prefer/would you choose?

Are there any other suggestions for names that you think will go well with [name]Honour[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name].

Thanks

The most obvious way to go would be another virtue name. [name]Verity[/name], [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Prudence[/name], [name]Blythe[/name], and [name]Amity[/name] all flow well with [name]Honour[/name]. If you don’t want to go that route, I like [name]Amelie[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Imogen[/name], [name]Willa[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Georgia[/name] or [name]Louisa[/name]. [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is a nice name but has a very different feel from [name]Honour[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name].

[name]Honour[/name] and [name]Autumn[/name] are waay too close in sound for me. Aside from that, they seem to be of very different styles. What about:

[name]Margo[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name]
[name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Sylvie[/name]
[name]Angelina[/name]
[name]Saskia[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Carys[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Vera[/name]
[name]Rosemary[/name]

[name]Honour[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name] is a gorgeous name and congrats on #2! I agree with previous posters that [name]Autumn[/name] is both a different style than [name]Honour[/name] and also they do sound very similar. I would like to add that IMHO, [name]Autumn[/name] is dated, reminds me of names like [name]Heather[/name] or [name]Amber[/name] that were popular in the 70s/80s and still feels very tied to that time. I do love the season though, it’s my favorite and probably has a lot of names related to it if you are interested in alternatives. I’ve got to run now but will be back later to read the thread more closely.

I must concur with other posters on [name]Autumn[/name]…on all points. I like the idea of an “[name]Autumn[/name]” like name. [name]Sienna[/name] comes to mind. If you go the virtue route, I think [name]Felicity[/name] is so pretty. Good luck!

[name]Autumn[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is very pretty, but a bit of a tongue twister combined with [name]Honour[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name] (gorgeous name!). From the previous suggestions, what about [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]?

Or, since you liked [name]Grace[/name], why not make that her first name: [name]Honour[/name] and [name]Grace[/name], I think they sound nice together.

I actually disagree with all the previous posters – I don’t think [name]Honour[/name] and [name]Autumn[/name] sound alike at all, though I think it might depend on your accent. I gather you’re British or Australian as you’ve spelt your first daughter’s name [name]Honour[/name], and in my Australian accent they don’t even sound similar. I also don’t think that the styles are so obviously different as to be a problem. [name]Honour[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name] and [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Rose[/name] definitely sound like sisters to me!
