Hello. I need help!!! My son’s name is [name]Jackson[/name] (nickname [name]Jax[/name]) and while I adore his name, I wish it was less popular. I am now pregnant with his little sister and struggling. Here are the choices so far (haven’t gotten to middle names yet):
[name]Violet[/name] - Reminds me of my mom which is a big plus. I am concerned this is getting to be too trendy and I will feel the way I do about [name]Jackson[/name].
[name]Juliet[/name] - My favorite - nickname [name]Jules[/name] - Is it strange if my two children both have names starting with J. What if I have a third child? [name]Will[/name] it be weird to have 2 with a J and one that is different?
[name]Kate[/name] - I love the classy simplicity but is it plain and over used
Other suggestions?
Please help!
[name]Violet[/name] - I adore this with [name]Jackson[/name], it’s my favourite of the three. However, it does seem to be increasing in popularity. I doubt it will break the top 100 anytime soon, but if you want the name to be very uncommon then perhaps avoid it, and go with something like [name]Viola[/name] or [name]Violeta[/name].
[name]Juliet[/name] - I love [name]Juliet[/name], but I’d avoid it with [name]Jackson[/name]. While I don’t think it would be weird to have to J names and the rest non-J names, you might start to think that you need another J name for the next child which would really limit your choices. And if you don’t, the third child may feel left out.
[name]Kate[/name] - I really like [name]Jax[/name] and [name]Kate[/name] as siblings, but I think [name]Kate[/name] should have a longer form like [name]Jackson[/name] for professional purposes. You could have [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Katerina[/name], [name]Katalina[/name], [name]Katia[/name], [name]Caitlin[/name] etc.
Some other suggestions:
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Lucinda[/name] ([name]Lucy[/name])
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Florence[/name] ([name]Flora[/name])
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Willow[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Annabel[/name] ([name]Annie[/name])
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Emmeline[/name] ([name]Emmy[/name])
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Isobel[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Evelyn[/name] ([name]Evie[/name])
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Camilla[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Serena[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name] & [name]Eleanor[/name] ([name]Ella[/name])
I love [name]Violet[/name] with [name]Jackson[/name]! You could spell it the french way to be different ‘[name]Violette[/name]’ or use a more obscure middle name. Having 2 J’s out of 3 kids would personally annoy me unless I had four kids (2 with different letters). You could use [name]Kaitlyn[/name] if you don’t want [name]Kate[/name] or could include [name]Kate[/name] as a third middle name. [name]Violet[/name] [name]Kate[/name] sounds nice and [name]Violet[/name] isn’t too common yet
