[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] (husband’s vote) or [name_f]Mila[/name_f]?

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is a bit of a mouthful, and I’m not sold on nickname [name_u]Penny[/name_u] (he likes it.) Other nicknames for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] just don’t feel right to me - like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] or [name_u]Nelly[/name_u]. I just can’t picture myself saying [name_f]Poppy[/name_f].

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] is simple and cute, but I do like “strong” names too.

Any other suggestions, or thoughts on these two options, to pair with my daughter [name_f]Juno[/name_f]?

I love the name [name_f]Juno[/name_f]!! Personally out of [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Mila[/name_f], I prefer [name_f]Mila[/name_f]. I also think [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_f]Mila[/name_f] sounds really nice together.

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] sounds just fine with [name_f]Juno[/name_f]. They have that goddess vibe.
Maybe just [name_u]Pen[/name_u] or [name_f]Nell[/name_f] as a nickname? I have a thing for short names.
I am not a fan of [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] either. It’s a name for a grandfather.
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] works too. Then the vibe is exotic.

Thanks all! I like [name_f]Luna[/name_f] a lot, but I thought it was too similar to [name_f]Juno[/name_f] almost…[name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f]? Too matchy?

I also like [name_f]Kira[/name_f] and [name_f]Petra[/name_f] but maybe not as much as [name_f]Mila[/name_f].

As for the suggestion of [name_u]Pen[/name_u] as a nickname for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - I like that too! More for an older [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]… I do like a more cutesy sound for baby/little girl. But it’s definitely doable.

I love [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and prefer it over [name_f]Mila[/name_f]. And I think [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is great as [name_f]Juno[/name_f]'s sister (though [name_f]Mila[/name_f] works too). I also love [name_u]Pen[/name_u] and [name_f]Nell[/name_f] as strong nns. Also, [name_m]Pip[/name_m], [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], [name_m]Pippin[/name_m], [name_u]Pepper[/name_u].

My daughter is [name_f]Nova[/name_f] and if #2 is a girl we will be naming her [name_f]Juno[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Nova[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f] go together beautifully. That’s my suggestion! Sibset twins!
