We are having another girl and not having a ton of luck coming up with a short list of names. Our daughter is [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] and we is want something that sounds good with it but isn’t too matchy
Right now, pretty much the only name we agree on is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]. I’d really like to use [name_u]James[/name_u] as a middle if possible (no real reason, I just like it) but if we don’t do [name_u]James[/name_u] I’d probably want another one syllable middle name. Our last name ends in A and is very Italian and I don’t want another first name that ends in A.
Other names we like are [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], but a friend just named his daughter that, or [name_f]Tess[/name_f], but it’s my good friends name and the only [name_f]Tess[/name_f] i know so I don’t think it’s an option.
Names that were on our short list the first time around were [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], but we just don’t feel the same way about Them anymore. I like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Clio[/name_f], and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f], but hubby does not.
Any suggestions on something that would go well with [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]?

From the suggestions given I like [name_u]Romy[/name_u], [name_u]Remi[/name_u] and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] but those names are off limits for us as well
I also like [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] but hubby said it just reminds him of [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] ODonnell. I’ve also brought up [name_f]Millie[/name_f] Or [name_f]Milly[/name_f] but he has bad associations with that name too.
I think [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f] are cute but probably too out there for him, but will see what he says.
I also like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] but our last name starts with P and I think it might be too much
I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] with [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. I’m not usually a fan of the [name_u]James[/name_u] trend but it’s cute with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
I’m not sure about [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. You spend a lot of time every day using their names once they hit toddler age and up and that might be a bit of a mouthful.
I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]! If you don’t mind two L names then I say go for it! I also like the suggestion of [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]
