Sister for Lily, Oliver & Iris?

We are expecting our 4th child in [name]June[/name]. We are really struggling with names. Our other children are [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] ([name]Lily[/name]), [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Luca[/name] & [name]Iris[/name] [name]Lucia[/name]. All of which were named before we found out the sex.

If this baby is a girl her middle name will be [name]Hope[/name].

Any suggestions on girl names to go with our other children?

Oh, you have great taste in names so I’m sure you will find another gem. Here are some suggestions.
[name]Lillian[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] and sister…
[name]Eva[/name] / [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Clara[/name] / [name]Claire[/name]

[name]Elsa[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “[name]Elsie[/name]”
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Hope[/name] '[name]Elle[/name]/[name]Ella[/name]"
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “[name]Elle[/name]”
[name]Josephine[/name]/[name]Josephina[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “[name]Josie[/name]”
[name]Persephone[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “[name]Eve[/name]/[name]Evie[/name]”
[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “[name]Eve[/name]/[name]Evie[/name], [name]Genny[/name]”
[name]Guinevere[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “Guin”
[name]Sophia[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “Phia”
[name]Coraline[/name] [name]Hope[/name] “[name]Cora[/name]”

I think all of those names flow well, but in the end, I would go with another vowel name or nickname, I especially like “E” names with this sibset. In the end, I think the name should either be [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Elsa[/name], or [name]Evelyn[/name]. [name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], and [name]Ella[/name]. [name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], and [name]Evie[/name]. [name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], and [name]Elsie[/name]. I think I like [name]Eloise[/name] “[name]Ella[/name]” best

I love [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Esme[/name], [name]Cecily[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name] & [name]Sophia[/name].

But [name]Cecily[/name], [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name] are my favorites.

Any other suggestions?

*We can’t use the names that are in italic.

I was going to make suggestions, but I think you’ve already found it. [name]Violet[/name] goes perfectly with [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Iris[/name], and even [name]Oliver[/name], and it keeps the theme as well. It’s a vintage, but traditional flower name like [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Iris[/name], plus it’s two syllables and doesn’t repeat any sounds with [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Iris[/name].

I think [name]Julian[/name] or [name]Violet[/name] is perfect for your new little one.

Oh I really like [name]Julian[/name] (for a boy!), [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Daisy[/name]. They would all fit in beautifully with your classic British choices so far.
I love the names you picked for your first three!

I love the name [name]Violet[/name] and think it fits perfectly with my other children but its a flower name and I don’t think this will be our last child. If I have another daughter in the future I don’t think I will be able to continue the flower theme because there isn’t any other flower names I like.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Juliana[/name] then? That opens up possibilities like [name]Victoria[/name] later in case you have another girl.

I would be careful when considering the name [name]Daisy[/name]. [name]Remember[/name] that your daughter will one day be an adult and will have to put that name on a resume. The name [name]Daisy[/name] does not exactly entail one to take her seriously. [name]Violet[/name] is a much better choice.

I love [name]Julian[/name], esp. with this sibset.

For a girl, I’m the kind who would say you just have to go with another flower. [name]Violet[/name] would be great. So would [name]Rose[/name]. (You could go with [name]Primrose[/name] or [name]Rosemary[/name] or [name]Rosalind[/name] or [name]Rosalia[/name] for a longer version.)

I also [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Marguerite[/name] and you could call her [name]Daisy[/name] (or [name]Pearl[/name])! That could be a way to have a grown-up name and still have a sweet little flower. (This name is on my personal favorites list [name]LOVE[/name] IT)

You have great taste. Good luck!

I think [name]Daisy[/name] is perfectly fine as a first name, and I don’t think she’ll have a problem as an adult. [name]Daisy[/name] makes me think happy, not childish. I do think [name]Violet[/name] fits better with [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Iris[/name] than [name]Daisy[/name] does though.
Other flower/plant names if you have a fourth daughter after this one, so you can see if there’s another to keep the pattern going:

The only one I really like is [name]Rose[/name]. But only as a nickname for [name]Rosalie[/name]. Which fits because [name]Lily[/name] is actually [name]Lillian[/name].

What does everyone think of…

[name]Amelia[/name](My husband’s favorite)

All are on my list.

well, even oliver is a botanical name…

that said, i love rosemary, which isnt a flower, per se.

as for what you asked in your last post…

not crazy about amelia or cecily, love beatrix, elodie is pretty and rings well with your choices, genevieve is pretty, but i think its too long to fit…

Botanical names…I like [name]Dahlia[/name], [name]Ginger[/name], [name]Linnea[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Willow[/name], [name]Zinnia[/name].

[name]Elodie[/name] is a botanical name as well. You could name your daughter [name]Violet[/name] this time around, and if you have a fourth daughter in the future you could use [name]Elodie[/name]. I think [name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Julian[/name], [name]Violet[/name], and [name]Elodie[/name] all got together rather well. I like [name]Rose[/name] as a first name or nickname too though.

We are leaning towards [name]Violet[/name]. Its a name we both agree on which is rare. We have very different naming styles.

Although I do wish DH would allow [name]Genevieve[/name]. Its my favorite but he says no.

[name]Violet[/name] is lovely. Maybe [name]Violet[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name]?

Why not [name]Violet[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]?

I second this

I think I like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] more, but [name]Violet[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] is nice too.
