Which is your favorite with older siblings [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] & [name]Miles[/name]? We also have angel daughters named [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Lily[/name].
[name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Elise[/name] are wonderful choices and would really complement your list. Not too sure on [name]Clementine[/name], or [name]Vivian[/name] ([name]IMO[/name] this name has not really aged well and sounds like an older person)
From your list, [name]Celia[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Vivian[/name] or [name]Violet[/name] are my favorites with your sibset. I like the suggestion of [name]Esme[/name] too. Some other possibilities:
[name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Miles[/name], and
I suggest [name]Celia[/name] or [name]Vivian[/name]. [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Iris[/name] sound too similar. Similarly, [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Miles[/name]’ sounds rely heavily on a long I sound, so other names with that sound ([name]Violet[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], etc.) leave [name]Oliver[/name] out [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Clementine[/name] is pretty, but seems long compared with your other kids’ names. I think [name]Celia[/name] and [name]Vivian[/name] are nicely old fashioned and feminine, fitting in with her siblings.
I like [name]Celia[/name] and [name]Vivian[/name] best with [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], and [name]Miles[/name]. [name]Celia[/name] I like because of the meaning (I remember your last post), and Vivan sounds lovely with your other children (and I don’t think it hurts that the name means “life”). As others have said, [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name] are too similar to [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Clementine[/name] seems out of place with the other names (too long and frilly, I think, in comparison). [name]Violet[/name] would be my third choice, but I think [name]Vivian[/name] and [name]Celia[/name] really stand out in comparison.
[name]Celia[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name] is # 1 on my combo list, so I may be a little biased, but I think [name]Celia[/name] [name]Rose[/name] would be a beautiful way to honor big sister [name]Alice[/name], and also tie in with her other sisters’ names in a subtle way. I would love to meet two sisters named [name]Celia[/name] and [name]Iris[/name]
My favourites with [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] (as well as [name]Lily[/name] & [name]Alice[/name]) are [name]Clementine[/name], [name]Eliza[/name] & [name]Violet[/name].
Good luck!
They are all lovely but I especially like [name]Vivian[/name], both for its sound & feel as well as its meaning, “life,” which could be especially poignant after your losses.
In a prior thread, before the loss of this pregnancy, you mentioned you’d lost four babies (now five total?). Did you name the other children too?
And, not to stick my nose in, but have you sought a medical eval for recurrent pregnancy loss? There are many correctable causes.
We have now lost 5 babies. We named them all, it was apart of our healing. Our first 2 losses were early miscarriages so we didn’t know the gender but thought 1 was a girl so my husband picked [name]Milla[/name] [name]Louise[/name] and our second a boy who we named [name]Laird[/name] [name]Henry[/name]. Our third was [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] who was a full term stillbirth due to umbilical cord accident. Our forth was a twin to our son [name]Miles[/name] that was lost due to vanishing twin syndrome we picked a unisex name [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Lee[/name] and then our fifth [name]Alice[/name] [name]Susannah[/name] was lost just shy of 18 weeks.
We have done many tests and nothing has come back with a reason as to why we have lost so many babies. We had 3 healthy pregnancies in between so we know we are able to have healthy babies. I’m high risk with each pregnancy and closely monitored. [name]Alice[/name] shouldn’t have died.
