Hello! [name_m]Long[/name_m] time follower of the Nameberry forums, but first time actually posting!
Looking for some name help for a girl. Big sister is [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], but she mainly goes by [name_u]Penny[/name_u] (unless she is in trouble, lol). Middle name is [name_m]Kent[/name_m], after my husband. Middle names are a huge deal in my family and have to have some sort of family tie.
We love the name [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and want something that flows nicely and compliments both names. I’m stuck because I’m not really sure what sort of style [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]/[name_u]Penny[/name_u] is so am unsure what would sound nice with it!
Any combos that pop out at you or different name suggestions?
I agree that [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] goes well with [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], but I personally love the combo [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_u]Ren[/name_u]
I think [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] sound the best together! [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] would be my second choice ([name_u]Lou[/name_u] is so cute).
No opinion on the middle name really. I think with honor names it’s often a good idea to use a name for a family member that you’re particularly close with. It would be kind of silly to use a middle name honoring a great aunt you never met instead of a family member you actually have a bond with, you know? But if that doesn’t necessarily apply I think you should just choose the one you personally like best :).
Oh that’s too funny. Our other top choice for our first daughter was [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. No reason for not choosing it other than we eventually had to pick one name!
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] has very deep meaning and I agree, pairs nicely with [name_u]Juniper[/name_u].
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is a relatively new addition to my ‘list’ and my husband is pretty so-so but a favourite of mine.
