I’m sorry if this is a bit weird, but honestly the combination of [name_u]Rio[/name_u] and [name_f]Maya[/name_f] feels like some kind of romanticization of Central [name_u]America[/name_u] to me. [name_u]Rio[/name_u] is a well-known Spanish word, and the [name_f]Maya[/name_f] are a group of indigenous people in Central [name_u]America[/name_u] that many people have at least heard of. If that’s not your heritage, I would hesitate to go for that combo.

Thanks for this feedback. A romanticization of Central [name_u]America[/name_u] is definitely not what I’m going for. Since [name_f]Maya[/name_f] comes from multiple origins I didn’t think it would come off that way. I might need to rethink it.
