Sister for Ronan?

Our son’s name is [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Alec[/name_m]. We already have possible boys names ready to go:
-Archer [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]
-Maxwell [name_m]Steven[/name_m]

[name_m]Alec[/name_m], [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], and [name_m]Steven[/name_m] are family names. I like keeping the theme for two syllable surnames as a first name for another boy.
For a girl, I am pretty stuck. If [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] had been a girl, we would’ve picked [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (nn Rosie). The reason I liked it is because “Rose” has a double meaning-- the flower, but also “rising,” as in she rose from her challenges. I wouldn’t want to pick this name now, as it is too similar to [name_m]Ronan[/name_m].
I’m not really sure what direction to go in for a girl’s name. I like the idea of picking a nature name, but it doesn’t have to be. I don’t really like other flower names other than [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I’m also interested in maybe another surname name, perhaps unisex. I do want a name that is versatile, not too feminine or frilly. I want to raise a strong girl who can play sports and be in STEM if she wants to!

Some ideas I have:
-Isla (this one seems too popular)
-Elsie (my grandma’s name, probably my top choice)
-Hazel, [name_u]Willow[/name_u], (I love nature names, but maybe too popular)
Madeline/ Adeline-- I like these names, but maybe too popular
Freya-- we have Scandinavian ancestry, so maybe
Evangeline-- I like this one a lot due to the meaning and [name_f]Princess[/name_f] and the Frog connection, but I think it is too long
Lucy-- I like the meaning, not sure about
Luna-- too popular, don’t like “loony” teasing potential
Eva/ [name_f]Evie[/name_f] --I like that it means “life”, not sure about
Colette-- I like the meaning, but reminds me of “Gillette” razors

Names my husband likes:
-Sophie (not sure about this one)
-Jane (I like in in theory, but I feel like it is too plain, and doesn’t go well with Ronan)
-Zelda (I don’t want a name that is tied to a fanbase)
-Lydia (I don’t like this one)
-Lilith (connected to a story about a demon)
-Cordelia (I like the meaning of this one, but I think it’s too long and old-fashioned)

Of your list, I like [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]

Some ideas:

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] with [name_m]Ronan[/name_m].

Other ideas:

Of your list and keeping in mind that your son Has the handsome and strong name [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Alec[/name_m] I’m going to go ahead and say my favorites of everything you have listed are:
& [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] .

Now, I know you said you consider [name_f]Jane[/name_f] to be too plain but I disagree (granted it is actually my name so there’s that) but it also has a whole wealth of middle and/or first names that would match with it perfectly. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a little long especially when viewed next to [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] so I’m going to suggest [name_f]Evangelia[/name_f] to shorten this beautiful namr up a bit. [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u], and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] are pretty common these days and there’s not much more I can say about that other than they aren’t the most mainstream of the mainstream so that in itself is a plus. Here are some others that I think would suit your needs:

[name_f]Inga[/name_f] / [name_u]Inge[/name_u]

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]

Favourite is [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]! [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], [name_f]Eva[/name_f] come next. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is not bad as well.

If [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is your Top what about going by it?

From your list, I like [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] best. Seems to have the most meaning to you, and it’s charming with [name_m]Ronan[/name_m].

If you’re looking for other suggestions:

Of your joint lists I like [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] with [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] - they all give me a strong, legendary feel.
