Sister for Rowan and Cole

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there!

We have [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u], and are expecting another baby girl

Our 4 year old daughter is set on naming her sister [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. I absolutely love it, but for some reason it just doesn’t feel fully right. Some suggested what about naming her [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] because [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is a nick name for it, however, there is already other family members with similar names. We have thought about using [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as a middle but struggling to find a first name that flows.

The names we have liked and considered/still could be considering are: [name_u]Reese[/name_u], [name_u]Lennon[/name_u], [name_u]Hollis[/name_u]

Any suggestions on similar names, or first names that could flow with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as a middle would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you so much

What about [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_m]Cole[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and …

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I absolutely love the name [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. It’s on the top of my personal list. It’s actually quite cute w/Rowan & [name_m]Cole[/name_m] too. Especially since [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] & [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] are both botanical names. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] nn [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] seems unnecessary to me. But if you wanted a more formal name, I’ve always liked [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] nn [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] & [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] both works okay w/your crew. Both are a bit boyish for my taste. [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] isn’t my personal favorite either, but it’s nice &. fits in really well. [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] would be cute.

Sorry for any repeats, but how about…

[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-this is one of my top favorite combos! Especially w/the nn [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is a bit different style from [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] & [name_m]Cole[/name_m], but I actually think [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Cole[/name_m] & [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] would be adorable.

[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]?

[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_u]Malin[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-I love this for you.

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Nuala[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-another one on my list. Really cute w/Rowan & [name_m]Cole[/name_m]!

[name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]…or [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Pippa[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] seems to fit in better though.

[name_u]Scout[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-I’m not sure that this flows perfectly, but I love [name_u]Scout[/name_u] as a sister to [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-same as above.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

Lennon [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] would be cute! I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] works fine as a fullname with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] if you like it.

I want to start off by saying that I really like Lennon and Hollis and think they both match your current name choices really well without matching too much. I really like Hollis in particular. I think Reese is okay, but a little less exciting than the others. I also am not fond of repeating first initials (Rowan and Reese), but if that doesn’t bother you, then I don’t think it’s a big deal. I personally love Daisy as a name but dislike it for your subset, as as I don’t think it quite matches your style. My suggestions based on your current names list would probably be:
Holland (Hollis)
Ellis (Hollis)
Leighton (Lennon)

As for the rest of my suggestions, I’d like to preface by saying that I’ve actually met people with all four spellings of Devin and both spellings of Fallon, as well as two Taryns and one each of Finley, Flannery, and Maren. The ages vary, but I think each name really suited the person, so don’t be put off by any of the uniqueness! From what I’ve seen, they’re all liked and accepted by others and the women themselves.

My other suggestions:
Briony/Bryony
Bronwen/Bronwyn (Wyn as a potential nickname)
Delaney
Devan/Deven/Devin/Devon
Elowen
Fallon/Fallyn
Finley
Flannery
Jocelyn
Maren/Marin
Quinn
Tamsin
Taryn
Tatum
Teagan

My favorite is Elowen, followed by Taryn,
Quinn, and Maren:

Rowan, Cole, and Elowen
Rowan, Cole, and Taryn
Rowan, Cole, and Quinn
Rowan, Cole, and Maren

With middle names, I’d stick to the pattern of traditional names, as I think it complements your first names and offers a good balance. Some pairings I think work really well:

Elowen Abigail*
Elowen Daphne
Elowen Grace
Elowen Isobel/Isabel/Isabelle*
Elowen Rachel

Taryn Aubrey/Audrey
Taryn Amelia*
Taryn Emily
Taryn Margaret
Taryn Olivia*
Taryn Sophia

Taryn Victoria
Quinn Amelia*
Quinn Catherine/Katherine
Quinn Charlotte
Quinn Hannah

Maren Elaine
Maren Emily
Maren Margaret
Maren Olivia
Maren Sophia

My favorites are Elowen Abigail, Elowen Isabel, Taryn Amelia, Taryn Olivia and Quinn Amelia (marked by asterisks). I think each would work really well and add a similar but distinct feel to your sibling set. Elowen Abigail and Taryn Olivia are my personal favorites, but I think all would be amazing with your other children:

Rowan Elizabeth, Cole Michael, and Elowen Abigail
Rowan Elizabeth, Cole Michael, and Elowen Isabel
Rowan Elizabeth, Cole Michael, and Taryn Amelia
Rowan Elizabeth, Cole Michael, and Taryn Olivia
Rowan Elizabeth, Cole Michael, and Quinn Amelia

I’m sorry, I know this a lot of information but hopefully some of these options stand out to you and make you feel confident about choosing a name! You have a lot of great options to work with and a lovely sibsst to build off of. Best of luck!

What about using [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]? It gives you a little more options for first names.

Violet [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Alice [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Willow [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Genevieve [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Sarah [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Delilah [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Isabelle “[name_f]Belle[/name_f]” [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Teagan [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Ivy [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]

Poppy [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]

Maisie [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]

Finley [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]

Don’t use [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] if you aren’t happy with it, I don’t think it really works as a middle name in general. Your daughter is 4, she will get over the fact you didn’t use the name, and probably forget about it in the space of a few weeks. However, I have to say I think it would be good as a first name with your other kids.

Out of your names I like [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] the most and [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] the least but I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] would work best with [name_u]Hollis[/name_u].
Here are some of my suggestions
[name_u]Scout[/name_u], [name_u]Kit[/name_u], [name_f]Adela[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f] (Funnily enough my sister is called [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Mia[/name_f] and I know a [name_m]Cole[/name_m] with a sister called [name_f]Mia[/name_f]), [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f], [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], [name_f]Erika[/name_f]

Scout [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_u]Scout[/name_u]
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Adela[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
[name_f]Adela[/name_f] [name_u]Scout[/name_u]
[name_f]Adela[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_u]Scout[/name_u]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_u]Kit[/name_u]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_u]Lennon[/name_u]
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_u]Kit[/name_u]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_u]Scout[/name_u]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_u]Kit[/name_u]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_u]Lennon[/name_u]
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Erika[/name_f] [name_u]Scout[/name_u]

I second [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] fits really well with your other two and can definitely work as a middle. I like the fact that there would be a botanical link between both your daughters names.

Harlow [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Maude[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Wilder[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

I think [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is very cute!

I would use [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as the middle name, because it is a classic like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], as you have used for you first daughter AND it has the nickname [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], which you would possibly like to call your new child. As a first name I would choose another unisex name in line with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], beginning with the letter D, which would gives the nickname [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] even more reason for being used. I can imagine [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and a sister named…

Dillon
[name_u]Devon[/name_u]
[name_u]Dayton[/name_u]
[name_u]Daryl[/name_u]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_u]Darby[/name_u]
[name_f]Dorritt[/name_f]
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
I especially like R0wan [name_f]Eliz[/name_f]@bet, C0le Mich@el and D0rritt Marg@ret

Do you like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]? I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] could work as a nn for [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]!

Suggestions:
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Collins[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

I love your naming style with your oldest 2 kids. And Wow there have been some beautiful suggestions.

I personally love The 3 names you are throwing around, [name_u]Lennon[/name_u], [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and [name_u]Hollis[/name_u]. I would nix [name_u]Reese[/name_u] so that each kid got their own unique initial

I also love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] but in the middle name spot. You could use it as a nickname and I feel like it has really special meaning

I am personally leaning towards [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]

I also really liked the suggestion of [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] and [name_u]Devin[/name_u] but I would than opt for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as the middle rather than [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] so that she didn’t have the initial DD

I won’t suggest any additional names as I feel like you have some beautiful options! Best of luck

Thank you all so so much!!! [name_u]Love[/name_u] reading all of these suggestions. I am especially loving the suggestion of [name_u]Harlow[/name_u]! Such a cool name. We have decided [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] will be a sweet nickname between baby and her older sister. We realized we lean towards gender neutral first names and we’ll most likely use [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a middle! [name_m]Can[/name_m]’t wait to keep reading all of these. I truly appreciate it

Could [name_f]Madelief[/name_f] be an Idea for the middle name? It’s a [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] name that means [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]!
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Madelief[/name_f] sounds really good to me!
