Sister for Scarlett

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] ladies! I am a first time mom expecting twin girls on [name_f]September[/name_f] 30. So far my husband and I are settled on Twin A’s name which will be [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], but we are struggling to decide on a name for our sweet baby B. I want to name the baby [name_f]Stella[/name_f], while my husband is set on the name [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. I personally think it would be so cute if my girls were named [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f], I think it has such a nice ring to it!! Our last name is [name_u]James[/name_u] so any help on the naming process would be much appreciated!! Thanks so much!

I think both [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] sound lovely with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. If I had to choose it would be [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. Gorgeous twin names!

Congratulations!
I personally [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] the name [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is lovely as well, but it is very popular. I understand that what the Internet thinks will not necessarily change you or your DH’s minds, so here is my proposal instead:

[name_f]Aristella[/name_f] - Yes, this is an actual name! I think this name is the absolute PERFECT compromise. It incorporates [name_f]Stella[/name_f], the name you love, and the overall sound and feel of [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], the name your DH loves. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] could be your nickname here, even if your DH prefers to call her by her full name.

[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Estella[/name_f] - These names can be easily shortened to [name_f]Stella[/name_f] as a nickname. I personally think they have the same feel as [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], and they both end with “ella”, which I think is a good compromise.

[name_f]Ariella[/name_f] - This name incorporates the beginning of [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and has the short, elegant first name touch as [name_f]Stella[/name_f] has.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helped! Wish you all the best!

I think [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] both go well with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], but I do lean towards [name_f]Stella[/name_f] more. I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] are both spunky and have a vintage yet modern feel to them. I also love the alliteration!

A few compromise names:

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]- This definitely has the same flowy, princessy feel as [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], but you could call her [name_u]Rory[/name_u], which is short and bright like [name_f]Stella[/name_f].
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]- This is also long and romantic like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], but you could also call her [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] or [name_f]Liza[/name_f], which feels like [name_f]Stella[/name_f].
[name_f]Selah[/name_f] (pron. [name_m]Say[/name_m]-la) or [name_f]Sela[/name_f] (pron. [name_m]Seel[/name_m]-a)- [name_f]Selah[/name_f]/[name_f]Sela[/name_f] offers the alliteration, while also being gentle like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f].
[name_f]Bethany[/name_f]- [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] feels soft like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], but vintage-new like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f].

As for middle names, traditional yet beautiful names like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], etc. would go nicely with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. Congratulations with the twins!

I think [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] both go well with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. I was going to suggest the compromise above [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Estella[/name_f] with [name_f]Stella[/name_f] as a nn. Maybe you could use [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] nn [name_f]Stella[/name_f] or [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] nn [name_f]Stella[/name_f]?

Some other possibilities:

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and

[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Lia[/name_f] or [name_u]Rory[/name_u]?)
[name_f]Celine[/name_f]/[name_f]Celina[/name_f]
[name_f]Christabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] or [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] ([name_u]Dell[/name_u] or [name_f]Della[/name_f])
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f] or [name_f]Gisella[/name_f] ([name_f]Gigi[/name_f]?)
Gwenellian/[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]
[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Stella[/name_f] better with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and just in general

I think both [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] would work well with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], although I personally would prefer [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] for the sibset.

Some other suggestions:
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and…

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Leonore[/name_f]

My husband and I are absolutely in love with the name [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]!! Thank you so much for suggesting it!! I think we are set and our Twins’ names will be [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]!!!

Beautiful! [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] make a stunning sibset!
