Sister for Sophie and Lucy

We have a [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and a [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
Open to ideas for baby girl number 3!!!

Considering :
[name_f]Holly[/name_f]
[name_f]Polly[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] (we like, though dislike [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] which may be used as a nickname )
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] ([name_f]Annie[/name_f] would likely be used as nickname)

Any other suggestions welcome!

[name_f]Holly[/name_f] or [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] would be my top picks from your list! They’re brilliant

I’d also suggest:
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Amy[/name_f]

I really love your daughter’s names. They are darling.

For their sister I love [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] or [name_f]Holly[/name_f] from your list.

I wouldn’t use [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] as in my opinion it is to similar to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]'s middle name.

If you haven’t got a middle name already picked out how about either [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. I myself prefer the [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] spelling though.

In my opinion a first name with two syllables is the way to go. Some ideas for you… [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], [name_f]Mira[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Katie[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Norah[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f], [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].

Other ideas… [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

My first thoughts for you:
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]

My favorite of your options is [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]! Also [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but agree with ladylight that [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is close to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]'s middle name. Maybe [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] nn [name_u]Abby[/name_u]?

Suggestions:
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f]
[name_f]Callie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]/ [name_f]Norah[/name_f]

Your daughters have lovely names! I think they are both especially sweet and timeless, and well-matched. From your list, my favorite name for a sister is [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. It matches [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] in sound and style.
[name_u]June[/name_u]: [name_u]June[/name_u] is beautiful, slightly vintage, and very, very sweet, just like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]/[name_f]Gracie[/name_f]: Another lovely pair of names with great history and meaning. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is short and sweet, like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] adds a bit of length plus the ending sound of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]: Classic, sweet, and evocative, with many of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]‘s sounds but the feel of [name_f]Zoe[/name_f].
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]/[name_u]Josie[/name_u]: These names are both lovely, and I couldn’t decide which variation to recommend. They both make well-matched sisters to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], though. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is long and elegant, like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], while [name_u]Josie[/name_u] is shorter like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]: This name might be my favorite for you. Its popularity is nestled right between [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], and it has sweetness, gentleness, style, and substance, just like them. It ends with the same sound as well. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is another great option, with quite a bit of spunk, and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], a major favorite of mine for you, is sweet and whimsical.
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]: Elegant, feminine, and flowy. That great ending sound, with some of the sounds of [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f].
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ella[/name_f]: Many of your favorite names have a double “l,” and these long-used, long-loved forms might be just about perfect. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] are two wonderful related options that I like just as much.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]: A double-l nature name like [name_f]Holly[/name_f], but gentler. I like how it has the long “o” of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and the “l” of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]: This got me to thinking of nature names, like [name_f]Holly[/name_f]. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] really stood out to me as being sweet and beautiful like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. It has the ending sound that makes it sound great with your set. This is one of my favorites. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] sound wonderful together.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]: Or what about [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]? This evergreen beauty of a name is short and simple, like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], has the ending you tend to like, and even a little bit of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]! Another favorite for you.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]: If you like [name_f]Polly[/name_f] and [name_f]Holly[/name_f], what about [name_f]Molly[/name_f]? [name_f]Polly[/name_f] might be a bit too quirky/rare with your daughters’ names, and [name_f]Holly[/name_f] might not be classic enough. However, [name_f]Molly[/name_f] is a long-used name with plenty of history. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_f]Molly[/name_f] fit well together and are bright and spunky.
Other ideas include [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_u]Haley[/name_u], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]. Please keep us updated, and best of luck!

[name_f]Polly[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] all the way.

Thank you all so much for your replies and suggestions.
So kind of you to take the time to think about potential names we could use.
Really really love some of the suggestions, more food for thought!

Thank you so much for taking the time to make such a detailed thoughtful and considered reply. [name_u]Love[/name_u] these suggestions! Many had made it to our shortlist and now reconsidering them again! Others such as [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] we hadn’t thought of and really like. Need to get our thinking caps on quick!

[name_f]Holly[/name_f] and [name_f]Polly[/name_f] would both make wonderful sibling names for your girls. They have style and spunk; they are familiar, yet unexpected; easy to spell, yet surprising and fun. I’ve known young girls with both names, and I was quite charmed by them. Congratulations and best of luck!

I’d for for [name_f]Holly[/name_f] or [name_f]Polly[/name_f]! [name_m]Zo[/name_m]ë is too close to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] for me, and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], too popular (and I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] but then prefer [name_f]Annie[/name_f] to [name_u]Issy[/name_u]/ [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]).

Other ideas:

[name_f]Mary[/name_f] nn [name_f]Polly[/name_f] (or [name_f]Molly[/name_f])
[name_f]Annie[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Polly[/name_f], I would go with that. I also think it sounds lovely with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the combination of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Both names together give a soft, sweet and cozy feel. With that in mind, I think baby #3 needs a soft and sweet name to match her siblings.

From your list [name_f]Holly[/name_f] feels right but I’m not completely ready to commit yet. [name_f]Polly[/name_f] is cute too but again, wanting to explore a bit first. I like the idea of [name_f]Bella[/name_f] from the name [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] but it also doesn’t feel quite right because of the “ah” ending. I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] but it feels a bit too spunky. The name [name_f]Annie[/name_f] (not [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]) feels the most well matched, however, it’s [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]’s middle name. Perhaps [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]? It pulls from both sisters middle names ([name_f]Anna[/name_f] and a flower). It gives a soft, sweet, lively feel and connects her to both of her sisters

Suggestions:
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Grace[/name_f] nn [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Emily[/name_f]

My favorite name for you:
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f]

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], but I think it sounds alot like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], which may lead to confusion. From your list I like [name_f]Polly[/name_f] best.

Back again to mention that I also like [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]!

[name_f]Holly[/name_f] is my favorite

Thanks so much for your suggestions, love them!

Thank you!
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leila[/name_f] from your own name options are beautiful. Names with the soft “l”sound are v pretty
