I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Diane[/name_f] would go wonderfully - [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] has the letters of [name_u]Palmer[/name_u] & [name_u]Lennon[/name_u], is a beautiful name, and I think it takes the pressure off the child by having your mother’s name in the second spot. Makes it less weighty and more special imo.

Don’t get me wrong, I love honour names, think it’s lovely you’re remembering your mother in this way, and [name_f]Diane[/name_f] is a stunningly pretty name, I just don’t think honour names in first spot is the way to go unless every first daughter/son is called the same name, for eg., in which case the name isn’t attached to any one specific ancestor/ relative.

I agree with putting [name_f]Diane[/name_f] in first spot. It puts to much pressure on the child. We were think of using it as the middle name.
