Sister name for Clarisse

We have a DD named [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f], and are looking to cement a sister name before LO is born.

Our top choice right now is [name_f]Nadine[/name_f], but we have also seriously considered [name_f]Paulina[/name_f] as well.

The middle name will be Marikit, which is a Tagalog name and was chosen by DH who is from the Philippines. Pronounced mahr-ee-KEET.

Any suggestions on a perfect sibling name? Or affirmations on [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] or [name_f]Paulina[/name_f]?

THANKS BERRIES!

[name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] and [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] go so well together! [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] Marikit is so unexpectedly cute! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.

Thank you.

Any other comments or suggestions, berries?

I think [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] sounds better with Marikit as the middle name, but on its own (and with [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f]) I vastly prefer [name_f]Paulina[/name_f]. This may not apply to wherever you live - I’m anglo-Canadian - but [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] is one of the names I really like when it’s pronounced in [name_m]French[/name_m] and find really grating when it’s pronounced in English. I don’t have that reservation with [name_f]Paulina[/name_f], and it feels really versatile and international to me. [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] and [name_f]Paulina[/name_f] would be my pick!

The only other name that comes to me is [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]. [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] Marikit?

[name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] and [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] are beautiful. I don’t think I could pick a better name to go with [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] than [name_f]Nadine[/name_f], but here are some suggestions since you asked:

[name_f]Nadia[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Francine[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Florentina[/name_f]

[name_f]Adore[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], but it’s been vetoed by my husband.

Thank you for your response though. I am in love with [name_f]Paulina[/name_f], but not sure our last name (Payot) would help or hinder. The initials might be the unusable P.P.!!
