Sister name for Hudson

Hello! Looking for advice on a sister name for our son [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]. They will be close in age (22 months apart). We have a very common last name so we like slightly different but still common enough. We like the name [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. Does it seem too weird to have one child named after a river and one a location? Lol thanks in advance

I don’t think it’s super noticeable - I wouldn’t have realized unless you pointed it out.

Same here! I think they sound great together

I think if [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] is what you like, [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] is what you should use.

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] is beautiful but if the location thing gets to you then what about [name_f]Svea[/name_f], [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Eliana[/name_f], [name_f]Veda[/name_f], [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] or [name_u]Sierra[/name_u]?

To me, [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] is a town in Massachusetts or a very old car model, also a river.
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] is a city, but is also a word for grasslands.
Names mean different things to different people.
I think this combo is great together.

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] and [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] go beautifully together. BTW, they are both river names. The [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] in NY, [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] in GA and SC. The [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] forms most of the border between the two states.

[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] TOTALLY work.

[name_m]Even[/name_m] as a geography major, I don’t think I would have thought of the geographical place names right off the bat. I think they sound quite nice together.
