Sister name help?!

I need a middle name for girl #3. Sisters are [name_u]Romy[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_u]Bennet[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f].

[name_u]Baby[/name_u] is [name_u]Ellery[/name_u]. Middle name is either [name_u]Sage[/name_u] or [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], which was a contender for her first name. [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is after my parents who both have S middle names, [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] is so cool and after husbands sister. I like that it offers the nn [name_u]Story[/name_u]. Any thoughts?

I think [name_u]Sage[/name_u] flows waaaaaaaaaaaaay better with [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] than [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], personally.

[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f]! It matches best with [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] imo.

I would go Ellery Sage for easy and elegant flow or Ellery Astoria for overall magic (Astoria is more sparkly than Sage), or if this is still possible (ie the baby is still v young), Astoria Sage nn Story. Astoria goes so well with the other two siblings, it’s a beautiful name, and means everyone gets their own starting and ending letter.

[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous. What a beautiful set of sisters. I have never really been a [name_u]Sage[/name_u] fan. I would definitely choose [name_f]Astoria[/name_f].

I vote [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. She’ll have plenty of nickname options from [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] (gorgeous name btw!) and while [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] is beautiful, personally I find it an absolute tongue-twister following [name_u]Ellery[/name_u].

Ooh, tough choice!

In terms of cohesiveness with siblings, I like that [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is a gender neutral nature name like [name_u]Wren[/name_u], but I feel like that makes [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] stand out as unexpectedly feminine. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is a bit easier for me to say than [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], but I do love the shared sounds and flow of [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], and [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] adds a glorious spark of magic to the combo! One last thought: [name_u]Romy[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is 3 syllables, [name_u]Bennet[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is 4 syllables, & [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] is 7 syllables – 3 + 4! I really love that little connection between the sisters :blush:

Both are great names! Based off flow, I prefer [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. However, [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] has a magical sparkle and stands out more to me.

With the middle name [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], would you use the nickname [name_u]Story[/name_u] with it as her middle name or would you be using [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] as the first name? I think that’s a really creative and fun spin on it.
